Engineering Colleges in India Accepting CUET: Eligibility Criteria for UG Courses

CUET Application Process 2024

The application form of CUET UG 2024 was released on February 27, 2024. Candidates can fill the CUET UG registration 2024 via online mode at the official website of the exam.  The last date to apply for CUET UG 2024 is March 26, 2024. CUET PG 2024 registrations were closed on February 10, 2024. The very first step is to register by providing the basic information including name, address, and contact details. Thereafter, candidates will be generated with their login credentials. After logging into the candidate portal with their registration credentials, candidates will have to fill the CUET 2024 application form with their personal and academic details, programme and exam city preference, and upload the necessary documents. After the CUET application form has been successfully filled, candidates will have to pay the CUET application fee online through debit/credit card, Net Banking, Paytm, and UPI. Only the candidates who have successfully registered for the CUET exam will be able to make changes in the CUET application form after submission. In the application correction window, registered candidates will be able to make changes in the fields of their or their parents/guardians' names, date of birth, gender, category, PWBD, and choice of universities.

CUET Syllabus 2024

NTA is in charge of releasing the CUET syllabus along with the official notification. The CUET syllabus 2024 is on the same lines as that of the NCERT Class 12 syllabus. The common subjects across the different courses of the CUET syllabus 2024 are English, General Aptitude, Analytical Skills, Numerical Aptitude/Data Interpretation, General Knowledge, and Reasoning. CUET Exam Pattern 2024

The National Testing Agency sets the CUET exam pattern 2024 and the CUET exam is conducted in a computer-based mode (CBT). According to the exam pattern of CUET, the exam includes Section 1A, Section 1B, General Test, and domain-specific subjects. Section 1A, which is mandatory involves 13 languages, and candidates are provided the option to choose the language as per their choice. Section 1B is optional and for candidates who want to opt for another language apart from the ones that are a part of Section 1A. Some of the languages on offer are German, French, Arabic etc. Each question carries five marks, and there is a provision of negative marking of 1 mark for every wrong answer.

CUET Mock Test 2024

The National Testing Agency releases the CUET mock test via online mode for all the subjects and languages. Candidates preparing for the CUET 2024 exam can get an understanding of the navigation system by undertaking the CUET mock test 2024. Candidates will be able to learn the usage of a virtual keyboard and calculator and how to move from one question to another from different sections by undertaking the CUET mock test 2024. CUET Exam Centres 2024

CUET 2024 exam centres have been increased by the NTA. Now, the CUET 2024 exam will be held in 411 cities in India and 24 foreign cities. A few of foreign countries have been included in the CUET exam centres 2024 list like the USA, Russia, South Africa, Australia, Hong, Kong, etc. The exam centre allotment details will be intimated to the candidates via the admit card of CUET. Prior to that, an advance intimation slip will be released mentioning the exam centre's city and state. Candidates will be required to enter two of their preferred CUET exam centre cities while filling up the CUET application form 2024. Till the previous year, candidates could select four exam cities. NTA will try to assign their CUET exam centre 2024in their preferred exam city.

CUET Cutoff 2024

The cutoff of CUET 2024 will be released individually by the participating institutes. The CUET UG cut off 2024 refers to the minimum marks that candidates need to secure to qualify for the CUET exam. Though NTA releases the qualifying cutoff, participating institutes releases separate cutoffs for every programme offered by them. The CUET cutoff marks are formulated based upon factors such as the total number of candidates, difficulty level of the exam, the number of test-takers, availability of seats etc.

CUET Result 2024

The National Testing Agency is likely to announce the CUET UG result 2024 tentatively in the third week of July 2024 in the form of scorecards. Candidates will be required to log into the official website with their login credentials and download the CUET result 2024 cum scorecard. The CUET scorecard comprises information such as candidates’ information, section-wise and total scores and percentiles and cutoffs.

CUET Counselling 2024

The CUET counselling 2024 is conducted by the participating institutes separately wherein a merit list is released by each institute based upon qualifying candidates after the release of the result. Candidates securing a rank in the merit list will be required to register and then participate in the CUET counselling process which will be conducted online. In general there are three rounds of CUET counseling and the number of rounds can vary as per  the seat vacancy. Candidates will be required to accept the admission offer after the seat allotment result is declared by reporting to the allotted institutes and getting their documents verified. There exists a few programmes, where in place of counselling, interview rounds are conducted. NTA intimates the admission process for such programmes separately in the information brochure of CUET.
