    Lovely Professional University is regarded as one of the Best Design colleges in India and Punjab, LPU School of Design offers its students cutting-edge labs and equipment to simulate the industry environment with practical exposure to fashion industry right from designing to merchandising. The school provides a platform for students to experiment with creative designs, patterns, fabrics and colors. Live with fashion events, visits by renowned national and international fashion designers, innovation and creativity is fostered in the students at every step. Students are encouraged to experiment with different materials to create conceptual wear and accessories.Also students are exposed to fashion shows, craft fairs, industry internships and craft documentation.She got Intensive exposure to practical work in Pattern making, Draping, Weaving, Printing, Dyeing, Garment Construction labs. Students are given various Live-projects during the course of the program to create commercially viable designs.Her department organized Face Painting and nail painting competition for students to showcase their creative talents. She has attended Workshop on "Fashion styling" by Anuj Lalawani (Renowned Designer & Stylist) where students got training in different creative endeavors like body fit, make up, dressing and grooming. She said Aditya Raina, a Final year student of diploma in Fashion Design got an opportunity to work as a Fashion stylist (intern) for ace Fashion designer J J Vallaya for his upcoming collection. Students are taken to educational tours to complement in-class learning. Students visit various monumental buildings and industries across India such as marble industries, tile industries, Thermax industry, Ashok Leyland, Tata Motors etc. University prepares its students for placements through special inputs in the form of placement classes. Students are given a lot of on-job training as well as work on projects where they can earn also. B.Design placements of the university are very good with students getting high packages.

    Dear Student,

    You cannot pursue a fashion design course from NIFT, Delhi unless you have completed at least class 12th! You can go for online design courses to strengthen your aptitude and skills. It would help you develop a basic knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and CAD.

    You can also complete your high school and then go for a diploma or certificate course in Fashion Design! Colleges such as Parul University, Gujarat, Vogue Institute of Art and Design (VIAD), Bangalore, LISAA School of Design (LISAA), Bangalore and ARCH College of Design & Business, Jaipur offer some top-notch short-term fashion design courses.

    Dear Student,

    No such discount on fee is available for the disabled candidate in NIFT, Delhi, however, you can avail the SARTHAK scholarship offered by the institute. If your parental income is up to Rs. 1.5 Lakhs per annum, you get a 100% fee waiver. If it lies between Rs. 1.5 Lakhs to Rs. 2.5 Lakhs, students will be awarded 75% fee waiver. Also, if the income of the parent is between 2.5 Lakhs to Rs. 4.0 Lakhs, 50% fee concession is offered.

    Once the admission is confirmed, aspirants are required to pay the admission fees before the deadline to secure a seat offered through NIFT Counselling 2020. As per the official notification released by NIFT, candidates have to keep the fee ready to be submitted through online mode in favour of NIFT, Head Office, payable at New Delhi.     Due to the spread of the coronavirus pandemic in the nation, NIFT counselling is being conducted online for the session 2020-21. You are required to visit the official website of NIFT to register for the counselling process. The entire instructions and procedure are not yet announced by NIFT. However, as per the latest official notification, the detailed counselling schedule and registration guidelines are expected to be out in the first week of August 2020.

    You are advised to be patient till then and keep visiting the NIFT Counselling 2020 page or the NIFT official website from time and time. As soon as the fresh guidelines will be announced, they will be updated on the aforementioned link.
