The online classes are being held via Zoom and the practical sessions are being held through video tutorials. The video tutorials designed by the faculty include step by step process to create various designs and enhance the practical skills of its students.

    The institute is conducting online tests after a fixed interval of time to track the growth of every student. Apart from this, students are also given practical assessments. The institute is also providing its students with videos and study materials so that the learning continues.

    National Institute of Design (NID) Seat Intake and Reservation Details

    National Institute of Design (NID) is one of the most prestigious design institutes in the nation. The institute refreshes its reservation policy and seat matrix each year and updates them as per the requirement. In 2019, all the campuses of NID had 100 seats for the B.Des programme. However, in the year 2020, 28 more seats were added. Similarly, for the M.Des programme, the total number of seats increased from 275 to 347. For 2021, 2022 and 2023 the same seat matrix is being followed.
