Summer Internship placements at Xavier School of Management (XLRI) School of Business and Human Resources ended with a grand success. Within a span of only two and half days, the placement session got completed with 100% placements to all 361 students of the first batch (2016-18).
The placement session saw more than 90 companies participating in the event and offering over 150 roles to the students. From consulting, finance, sales and marketing, operations to business development (BM), industrial relations (IR) and human resources (HR), students were offered jobs in a lot of streams.
Apart from this, the institute has earlier earned glory as well after it was accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International) for its well-known flagship management and doctoral programmes.
Not only this, XLRI has also been ranked at number 13 among the top 100 management colleges in India in the ‘India Ranking Report 2016’ prepared by the Human Resource Development (HRD) Ministry.
About the institute:
The institute was established in the year 1949 in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand (India). Its founders were a few visionary Jesuit Fathers, who wanted to bring a change in the society.
To get admission in the prestigious XLRI, students have to appear for XAT (Xavier’s Aptitude Test). Qualifying students are then shortlisted and selected for their MBA programme.
