IISc Bangalore Admission 2024

IISc Bangalore admission 2024 for all courses has commenced. For B.Sc admission, candidates need to qualify JEE Main and JEE Advanced. Admission to the M.Tech programme is through GATE, and candidates meeting the eligibility criteria can proceed with the IISc Bangalore admission process. B.Sc aspirants have to appear for JEE Advanced and meet the cutoff to be eligible for the JoSAA counselling process and seat allotment. For M.Tech courses, IISc Bangalore admissions are done through CCMT, and candidates have to meet the GATE cutoff to be eligible for seat allocations. M.Sc aspirants have to appear for JAM and meet the cutoff for counselling through CCMN. For M.Mgt admissions at IISc Bangalore, candidates have to appear for CAT or GATE to be eligible for group discussions and personal interviews.

Eligibility for International Student for UG Admission

International students seeking UG admission at the IISc Bangalore, have specific eligibility criteria to meet. Persons of Indian origin holding non-Indian passports can apply for IISc Bangalore admission if they hold an Overseas Citizenship of India as per section 7B(1) of the Indian Citizenship Act, 1955. Eligibility for International Student for PG Admission

International students seeking postgraduate admission at the IISc Bangalore, must meet specific eligibility criteria. All foreign nationals holding a foreign passport are eligible to apply. IISc Bangalore Application Process 2024

  • Click on the desired course via the IISC Bangalore online admissions portal.
  • Students must first create an account on the IISc Bangalore admissions portal by clicking on "new user, to create an account, click here."
  • The next step is to fill out details such as name, date of birth, and email address to register.
  • Check that the name and date of birth on the degree certificates are the same. These values cannot be changed later.
  • Check that the email address is accessible. All admissions messages will be sent to the provided email address only.
  • Candidates will then receive an email from noreply.admission@auto.iisc.ac.in with a link to confirm their email address after they have registered. Their registration will be active after they click on that link. They can now submit their IISC Bangalore application by logging into the portal.

IISc Bangalore Scholarships

IISc Bangalore Scholarship for Meritorious Students, are offered to PhD candidates with a strong academic record and research potential. To be eligible, candidates must be Indian citizens, have a strong academic record, demonstrate research potential, score at least 85% marks or equivalent in their qualifying examination, and be pursuing a doctoral program at IISc Bangalore.

IISc Bangalore scholarship benefits include a monthly stipend of Rs 37,000 for the first two years and Rs 42,000 for subsequent years. Scholars also receive a House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per Government of India norms and a grant of 10 lakh. IISc Bangalore scholarship promotes academic and professional growth, providing opportunities for research and networking in the field of mathematics. Following an initial screening, candidates may be required to attend a panel interview or written test. In addition to this, IISc Bangalore provides a monthly scholarship of Rs 5000 to all eligible candidates and offers opportunities for internships and stipends during summer vacations.

LPU NEST 2023 Application Form has been released via online mode. Exam Dates have been announced. It stands for Lovely Professional University National Eligibility and Scholarship Test. LPU NEST exam is conducted in different slots from January and April onwards. It is a university level entrance exam which is conducted for various courses including B.Tech, MBA etc. Candidates who want to get admission in Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes can enrol in the exam. Number of LPU graduated students are working at various MNC’s at high paying packages across the globe. In the year 2021-22, 431 LPU students are selected at packages of Rs.10 to Rs.62.72 Lakh.

IISc Banglore does not offer PG in Physics but it offers integrated courses in Physics (PG and Ph.D. together)

Basic Qualification and Eligibility: For Integrated Physics Course is a candidatemust have a  minimum of first-class or equivalent in B.Sc. or an equivalent degree with Physics as one of the main subjects or BE/B Tech or equivalent in any discipline.

Apart from the eligibility criteria, candidates must have qualified either in IIT JAM or JEST.
