BBA LLB Eligibility Criteria

If a student has completed their Class 12 from a recognized board, they are eligible for the BBA LLB program. Aside from that, most law colleges/institutions specify that students are entitled to register for a BBA LLB program provided they obtain a minimum of 45 per cent aggregate in class 12th (for SC/ ST category candidates there is a relaxation of 5% in aggregate per cent which brings down the minimum aggregate percentage of 40% in 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board).

Students who have completed their class 12th with Economics, English, and Statistics are eligible as well as preferred candidates to apply for the BBA LLB course. Candidates who have done a diploma in law after class 10th are also eligible for admission to the BBA LLB course.

BBA LLB Admission Process

Online Registration: Generally, the institutes/ colleges allow registration before the final admission. The desired student must register an account with some basic information such as their full name, email address, phone number, and so on.

Form Filling: The next step is to carefully fill out the application form with all relevant information. It's important to double-check that the information supplied here is correct and accurate.

Submit Required Documents: Scan and upload all the required papers such as 10th and 12th grade transcripts (Diploma mark sheet, if any). Those documents must be uploaded in a certain format (e.g., Docx File, PDF Format, JPEG/ PNG) as defined on the college/ university’s official website.

Payment of Application Fee: Along with the submission of the BBA LLB application form, a BBA LLB application fee must be paid online via Net Banking, NEFT, Credit Card, or Debit Card. The BBA LLB application fee may vary for different colleges/ universities, and candidates from the SC/ ST/ OBC categories are given considerable leeway. 

Availability of Admit Card: Admit cards are made available online about a week before the examination. Candidates must download and print their admit cards in order to use them on the day of the examination. The admit card will contain essential details like the name of a candidate, their age, enrollment number, etc.

Examination Day: Prepare for the exam by studying the curriculum as well as the BBA LLB previous year's question papers. Attend the examination on the date set by the official conducting body while adhering to all of the conditions outlined in the Admit Card.

CLAT:Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national test administered by the Consortium of National Law Universities. It takes place only once a year in June for admission into undergraduate law programs like BBA LLB at 120 institutions of higher learning across India. It is a two-hour online examination with a total of 150 marks. The CLAT exam is scheduled to be held on 19th June 2022.

LSAT India:Law School Admission Test (LSAT) is conducted by the Law School Admission Council (LSAC) for admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate law courses in various colleges and universities in India. LSAT is conducted twice a year and for June 2022 exam, the registration will close on 8th June 2022.

AILET: The All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) is a university-level law entrance examination conducted by the National Law University, Delhi to provide admission to candidates in five year BBA LLB program, LLM program, and Ph.D. courses. AILET is conducted only once every year and more than 20,000 students sit for this examination to get admission to the BBA LLB course.

SLAT:Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) is a university-level examination conducted once a year by Symbiosis International which is a deemed university for admissions to professional law courses like five-year integrated BA LLB and BBA LLB programs. This year the SLAT exam is scheduled to be held on 3rd July 2022 and the final results will be announced by 12th July 2022.
