Today more than ever, companies are actively searching for qualified workers with CS skills to manage their operations, assist them in starting new businesses or growing current ones, and guarantee that they are in compliance with all laws and regulations that may apply.

Only the companies who have been warned are expected to keep cost records and have those records audited by a certified cost accountant; no company is required to have a cost audit performed.

Only businesses that operate on an extremely big scale are required to hire cost auditors. Hence, there are fewer possibilities available for CMAs than for Company Secretaries.
