Masters of Computer Management

Masters of Computer Management or MCM is a two year post graduate programme that has been designed to impart skills in the field of software and management. The course prepares aspiring students to deal with the upcoming changes in the Information Technology industry. MCM programme covers different areas of study including software programming, e-commerce fundamentals, database applications, business applications, software project management and others. The course is advantageous for candidates who want to make a career in the IT and management field. The candidates can also foray into software development after pursuing this course and can earn starting packages of up to Rs. 25,000 per month.

MCM Eligibility:

• Min Qualification Required: Graduation (any field)
• Min. Marks Required (Aggregate): 50% to 60% varies from college to college

MCM Admission Process:

• Admissions to MCM programmes are done on the basis of the entrance exam conducted by the respective institutes.
• Candidates who have appeared for management entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, MAT, ATMA, etc. will be exempted from separate tests conducted by institutes.
• Institutes select candidates on the basis of marks scored by them in the respective entrance exam.

Candidates who pursue the Master of Computer Management (MCM) programme can expect a starting package of Rs. 3.5 lakh to 8 lakh per annum depending on their college of graduation as well as relevant work experience. Salary packages improve as the candidates gain experience in this field. At higher management levels, MCM graduates can expect salary packages of up to Rs. 13 lakh per annum.
