Master in Dental Science for the USA can be done only if you have completed your Bachelors in Dental Science from a recognised college of India or any other country. Getting admission in the US universities for medical courses can be a big challenge due to the limited number of seats against the number of applications received. Eligibility Criteria for MDS in the USA

The eligibility criteria to pursue MDS in the USA  may change with respect to the dental school you plan to apply, but certain conditions remain the same all over the US. We have prepared a list of such conditions for you, have a look: 

• TOEFL/IELTS or any other recognized English proficiency test is mandatory for all students planning to apply in a US university. Some Universities have set bars on the scores of the English test.
• GRE is another Exam that is mandatory to pursue MDS form a US university. Required GRE score may vary from university to university. 
• National Board Dental Examination (NBDE) is conducted by the US government for the licensure of dental practices. International students have to clear NBDE to continue studying advanced dentistry courses from the USA.

However, most of the grants given to Indian students are merit-based, thus, it is important to have an excellent academic record while applying to a US dental school. Some universities also consider GRE scores to give scholarships to study abroad students.
