About LL. M in Human Rights

LL. M in Human Rights is a one-year postgraduate degree that includes a number of tasks like researching on legal cases, arguing human rights cases in court, drafting legal documents and so on. Lawyers with this specialisation evaluate, investigate and defend people in litigation cases that involve abuse and torture.

LL. M in Human Rights Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who seek admission in LL.M in Human Rights should meet the following criteria:

  • The candidate should have obtained a Bachelor of Law (LL.B) degree or any other equivalent degree.
  • The candidate should have a minimum of 45 per cent marks in aggregate, which is for General category. 
  • For the Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes category students, 5 per cent marks will be relaxed.
  • Few institutes select students who have at least one year of professional experience (this varies from institute to institute).

LL.M Human Rights Admission Process

To be able to get admission into the LL.M in Corporate Law course, candidates have to qualify a national, state and university entrance examination. 

Candidates also have to clear the group discussion and personal interview rounds which would evaluate the aptitude.
