: The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the JEE Main Paper 1 application form on October 31, 2025, for session 1, and candidates can fill out the application form till November 27, 2025 (9:00 PM); however, candidates can make payment for the JEE Main application form till 11:50 PM. The session 1 exam is scheduled to be conducted between Janaury 21 to 30, 2026, for Papers 1 and 2, respectively. JEE Main Syllabus 2026
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Main 2026 syllabus to inform candidates about the subjects that must be learned while considering how to prepare for JEE Main 2026. The JEE Main syllabus has been reduced, and many of the topics have been removed by NTA this year. However, it is to be noted that the syllabus of JEE Mains 2026 is based on the topics of Class 11 and 12 - Maths, Physics, and Chemistry. General Aptitude, Mathematics, and Drawing are covered in Paper 2A of the JEE Mains 2026 syllabus for Architecture (BArch), whereas General Aptitude, Mathematics, and Planning are covered in Paper 2B (BPlan). JEE Main Exam Pattern 2026
NTA JEE Main Exam Pattern 2026 has been released on the official website for all the streams. Questions containing Numerical Value Answers (Section B) would get negative marks under the revised JEE exam pattern. Paper 1 for BTech or BE and Paper 2 for BArch are incorporated in the JEE Main 2026 exam. Paper 2 is separated into two parts, Paper 2A, and Paper 2B, and is held separately for B.Arch and B.Plan. Except for the drawing section of paper 2A, which is conducted offline, the JEE Main exam is conducted online.
The JEE Main exam for B.E/B. Tech courses would consist of75 MCQs worth 300 marks. Paper 2A for B.Arch will have 77 questions for 400 marks, while Paper 2B for B.Plan will have 100 MCQs worth 400 marks. In addition to Hindi, English, and Gujarati, the exam will be conducted in 13 languages: Assamese, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.

JEE Main Admit Card 2026 Session 1 will be released in January 2026 (3 days before the exam date). Candidates can access the admit card in online mode.
