About BSc in Physiology

BSc in Physiology is a 3- year undergraduate course during which students learn about the functioning and working of the human body, the various organs, cells, and tissues. The course is designed to familiarise the candidates with the mechanical, physical, and biochemical functions that work cohesively to keep the body in good health. The discipline of physiology is an offshoot of the discipline of biological sciences that plays a crucial role in helping us understand how the various organs, tissues, and cells function. Understanding human physiology is hence vital in devising diagnostic techniques and appropriate treatment procedures for the body.

In order to be eligible to study BSc in Physiology course, candidates need to pass higher secondary education with at least 45% to 50% marks in aggregate from any recognized board/institution. Physics, Chemistry and Biology must be the core subjects of the candidates at the 10+2 level. Admission to BSc in Physiology is done both on merit basis and through entrance exams.
