    • NIMHANS DM: It is the entrance exam for the National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro-Sciences. Students who wish to study there need to pass the test. This exam is conducted twice per year; in July and December. It is a computer-based test that consists of 100 questions. It is a multiple-choice question-based exam. The duration of the test is 90 minutes. 

    • DNB PDCET: This exam is conducted by the Diploma of National Board as the admission criteria for DM Neurology courses. The examination is conducted by the National Board of Examinations. This exam is also conducted online mode. All the questions are multiple-choice.

    • 5-year MBBS degree or a bachelor's degree in the relevant field with 55% aggregate.
    • After completing their bachelor’s, students need to pass their post-graduation in general medicine or other relevant streams.
