About DNB PDCET 2021

The National Board of Examination (NBE) is responsible for conducting the Diplomate of National Board (DNB) Post Diploma Centralised Entrance Test (PDCET). Dates for the January session of DNB PDCET 2021 have been announced. The examination will be conducted on January 28.

Currently, NBE conducts various examinations for the admissions to the different postgraduate and postdoctoral programs which precipitates to a DNB award. The Board has specified rules and regulations that will lead to the admissions to the courses offered in the medical colleges in India. DNB PDCET is conducted to take admissions to the different specialisations in DNB across India.

How can I apply for Calcutta University entrance exam?

You can apply by filling the Calcutta University entrance exam application form from the official website. In order to fill up the application form, the applicant needs to first register themselves by providing their personal information such as Name, Date of Birth, Email Address, Category, whether wards of Police and Details of Police Personnel, etc. After registration, the candidate will be required to login eith the e-mail address, password and the unique security code that they will receive. After the successful login, the students fill up the application form and upload their required documents.

The Calcutta University entrance exam will consist of 100 Multiple Choice Questions for BA LLB Course, 50 Multiple Choice Questions for M.A, 50 Multiple Choice Questions for M.Com and 50 Multiple Choice Questions for M.Sc.

Will there be negative marking in the Calcutta University entrance exam?

There is no negative marking in the CU Entrance Exam for BA LLB course. But For MA, M.Com and M.Sc courses, 2 marks will be awarded for each correct answer, 0.5 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer and 0 marks for no response.
