About Master of Applied Management

Master of Applied Management is a two-year full-time course that deals with management related activities and practise. Applied management is all about examining ways in which the management principles can be utilised to solve business-related problems. Master of Applied Management trains students for management principles required to solve business problems. Students who have completed their bachelor degree may apply for this master level program. However, candidates who are good in management skills and own some experience are perfect candidates for this program. 

The first year of the Master of Applied Management covers topics which are common for all the candidates while the subjects covered in the second year focus on the specialization opted by the candidate. Some of the major subjects which will be covered in this course are Leadership and Supervision, Marketing & Promotion, Business Communication, Organizational Management and Managerial Accounting. Apart from these, some topics related to sustainable business and medium-sized enterprises will also be taught to the candidates. The program also includes a training period which will surely help the students to gain necessary skills and additional knowledge about the subject.

Master of Applied Management Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who want to apply for the Master of Applied Management program must have cleared the BBA, B.Com or any other bachelor degree with at least 50%. Minimum percentage required for admission into this degree will vary from college to college. Candidates may check the eligibility criteria of the college to find out if they are eligible for admission into the program or not. 

Master of Applied Management Admission Process

Admission to the Master of Applied Management program can be done either on the basis of merit or on the basis of the entrance exam. Candidates will have to fill the application form of the college before appearing for the selection process. The admission process will totally depend on the college at which you are going for admission. Some colleges will select candidates on the basis of personal interview and group discussion round. Final admission to all the colleges will be done only after all the admission rounds are completed.
