B.Sc. in occupational therapy used in to improve the lives and health of people with disabilities and limitations. This course can be assumed to be close to patient recovery. B.Sc in Occupational Therapy treats patients with minimal physical, mental and neurological disorders. The course/field seeks to enhance the life, health and recovery of these people with disabilities and disabilities through different care methods such as activities, functional training, supportive devices and equipment, ergonomic training and adaptation and redesign of the environment.
Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy or B.Sc. in Occupational Therapy is a 3-year undergraduate course divided into six semesters. The course is also offered throughout the country by various colleges and institutes where the length of the course can vary from 3 years to 4.5 years.

The course will only be taken by students who wish to improve expertise and experience in different areas/practice fields, such as mental wellbeing, physical therapy, medical care, community health and working with children and the elderly are best suited for the course. Candidates who wish to enrol in the course must be knowledgeable in machinery and equipment and must be technically inclined. Interested applicants must have a strong ability to interact, team spirit and engage with patients and staff. The applicant also should have the ability to work with minimal supervision and to solve problems efficiently, to engage in successful interpersonal and organizational relationships.
The minimum requirement needed to apply for B.Sc. in Occupational therapy is discussed below:-
Candidates interested in completing an occupational therapy course should have passed 10th and 12th or equivalent exams from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% marks for the general category and 45% for SC / ST category.
Students who have studied Physics, Chemistry, Biology at the intermediate level and have completed their 10 + 2 in Science stream are only eligible for the admission in B.Sc. in Occupational therapy course.
The admission for the B.Sc in Occupation Therapy is done merit base depending upon the candidate’s marks in class 10+2 examination. But in some colleges/ universities, the admission will be done on the basis of entrance exam conducted by the institute.
On the basis of these factors, candidate merit list will be prepared for B.Sc. in Occupational Therapy admission.
The B.Sc Occupational therapy course fee will range from Rs 2.00,000 to 10.00,000/- per year and the course fee in some universities can also be raised. The course fee may, however, vary from university to institution. When candidates are interested in admission, the tuition charge of the program may be reviewed in the admission brochure provided by the college.
