MMS or Master of Management Studies is a two-year management degree available for the candidates who have completed their bachelor degree. The master degree, approved by AICTE is perfect for those students who don’t have any practical experience and knowledge of the field. MMS is generally the same as the master in business administration(MBA) program. The program aims at practical skills and adequate knowledge to the candidates so that they can manage their resources to maximize their productivity.
The MMS curriculum is designed to develop expertise in business management and provide adequate instruction for individuals preparing to make a career in the industry. Candidates may start pursuing the MMS program once they have completed their bachelor in management. The program is divided into six semesters covering theory classes, internship and practical projects. The final semester of the degree is the internship period where the students are exposed to the industrial environment which makes them get familiar with the working culture. Like the MBA Program, the first year of the degree program will remain the same for all the students and the second year will cover subjects based on the specialisations offered by the candidates. Candidates may decide their specialisation or area of interest in the second year.
