Masters of Social Work (M.S.W.) is a two-year postgraduate program which is related to the study of essential humanitarian efforts in a society. The primary focus of the course is on the marginalized and weaker sections of the society who are often suppressed and neglected.
The course imparts students knowledge and training related to the upliftment of the marginalized in areas such as education, sanitation, and their welfare. MSW program mainly consists of Foundation Courses, Core Courses and Disciplinary Courses taught in a period of four semesters.
The program offers specialisation in the four main areas such as Industrial Relations and Personnel Management, Family and Child Welfare, Psychiatric Social Work and Community Development. Social workers work with one agenda in the society; that is to bring a change!
