CUET PG exam pattern 2026 will be published along with the notification! CUET PG exam 2026 will be administered online in CBT mode only including multiple-choice questions (MCQs) to assess students' topic knowledge. For 157 test subjects, CUET PG 2026 exam will be held in March, 2026.
NTA has updated CUET PG Exam Pattern in accordance with the UGC and expert committee last year. According to the new changes, CUET PG 2026 exam pattern will allow test takers 90 minutes per subject per paper to complete the exam, rather than 105 minutes. The question paper for the examination is Bilingual throughout all streams, including Science, Humanities, Acharya, Languages, MTech, and higher studies.
NTA has also stated that CUET PG 2026 General paper will be examined and revised to cater to skill-based and specific professions based on UG knowledge, allowing institutions to use it for programs in such areas. A committee of experts was set up to assess the exam's performance. Candidates will receive 4 marks for each correct answer in the CUET PG marking scheme. Candidates will lose one mark for each incorrect answer. There will be no deduction of marks for failing to attempt any questions.
No, students should not attempt all the questions unless they are very sure about the same. There is a negative marking scheme in the CUET PG 2025 exam. One mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. Marks are neither credited nor deducted for unattempted questions.
