About Diploma in Clinical Pathology

Diploma in Clinical Pathology is a two-year diploma course in which students learn about theoretical and practical aspects of clinical pathologies techniques. During the course work, students learn about histopathology, clinical pathology, microbiology, biochemistry and transfusion medicine samples with a knowledge of general principles and methodology. The course helps to train in physicians and pharmacists in medical biology, and also interpreting analysis performed in biology laboratories.

Diploma in Clinical Pathology Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility for the Diploma in Clinical Pathology is as follows:

  • Must have 10+2 or equivalent in science stream with physics, chemistry and biology as compulsory subjects.

  • The minimum pass percentage for the DCP course is 50%. However, it may vary from institute to institute.
