List of JoSAA Participating Institutes 2024: Joint Seat Allocation Authority will release the list of JoSAA 2024 participating institutes at josaa.nic.in. JoSAA manages the admissions process for admissions to 32 National Institutes of Technology (NITs), 26 Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), 23 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), and 38 Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs). The list of JoSSA participating institutions is available at josaa.nic.in. The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) opened the registration for JEE Advanced 2024 counselling from June 19 to 28, as per the official schedule.

List of Participating NITs in JoSAA Counselling 2024
The National Institutes of Technology (NIT) are independent institutions of engineering that provide a range of undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate degree programmes in engineering and other disciplines. There are 31 NITs in all of India, and admission to the BTech program of NITs is done via the JoSAA 2024 counselling process based on the All India Rank (AIR) of candidates in the JEE Main 2024 exam. The Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) are independent educational organizations that provide technical education in communication and information technology. In all, there are 26 IIITs in India, 23 of which are Public-Private Partnership (PPP) IIITs, and five of them are classified as Institutes of National Importance. List of Participating GFTIs in JoSAA Counselling
A list of 38 technical institutes financed by the Indian government is known as the Government Funded Technical Institutes (GFTI). Universities, engineering schools, and architecture programmes are sponsored by the Indian government and are included in GFTIs. In India, there are a total of 33 GFTIs. The admissions procedure is handled by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) for all GFTI institutions. JoSAA Counselling 2024
JoSAA Counselling 2024 registration will commence on June 10, 2024. The selection of candidates for seats through JoSAA will be based on their qualifications as well as their preferences for institutions and courses. Seats will be assigned to candidates throughout seven rounds of the JoSAA counselling process 2024. The JoSAA 2024 counselling will be held in 6 rounds for which separate seat allotment results will be released. The JoSAA 2024 counselling will be conducted for admission to the best NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. However, in the case of open seats, super-round counselling will be carried out by the CSAB. The JoSAA 2024 seat allotment results are released in the form of opening and closing ranks for BTech in India and are made public course-by-course and category-by-category following each round of JoSAA Counselling 2024.

Can I get private college through JoSAA Counselling?
It is not possible to secure admission to private colleges through JoSAA counselling. The counselling process only facilitates admission in government colleges such as IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.
How many JoSAA participating institutes are there?
There are 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs, and 33 GFTIs which take part in JoSAA participating institutes.
