This exam is given across the country by IITs and Indian Institutes of Science. Candidates with a class 12th grade from any recognised board in India are eligible to take the SEED exam. In addition, in order to appear for the exam, candidates must have an aggregate score of 50%. Candidates with a Diploma (10+3 years) are also eligible to take the entrance exam. 
NID DATThe National Institute of Design - Design Aptitude Test (NID DAT) is a national design entrance exam administered by the National Institute of Design. (NID). Every year, the examination is held in order to offer admission to qualified candidates in the field of Interior Design courses. The NID DAT entrance exam consists of two papers: the preliminary exam and the main exam. Candidates must pass both papers in order to be admitted to Interior Design colleges.
CEEDThe Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) is a joint entrance exam for post-graduate studies in Interior Design. The CEED entrance exam is held jointly at all IITs and Indian Institutes of Science across the country each year. IIT Bombay hosts the CEED entrance examination on behalf of the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. AIEEDARCH Academy of Design administers the All India Entrance Examination for Design for admission to Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes in Interior Design colleges. UID DATThe UID Design Aptitude Test is administered by Unitedworld Institute of Design (UID) for admission to design courses at the UID Ahmedabad Campus and UID NCR Campus. Pearl Academy Entrance ExaminationOne of India's most renowned design schools, Pearl Academy, has its own admissions process that is divided into several cycles. Before being considered for admission to any of the design college's programs, applicants must take and pass the Pearl Academy Entrance Exam, also referred to as the PAF Entrance Exam. A round of individual interviews follows this. Candidates are informed that for each admission cycle, Pearl Academy holds a unique written entrance exam in addition to a round of in-person interviews. Applicants can enrol in the various UG, PG, and Diploma programmes offered at Pearl Academy by passing the written entrance exam and interview stages.
IIADThe written IIAD Design Aptitude Test (iDAT) measures a candidate's aptitude for creativity, the visual arts, and their familiarity with various cultures. After passing the written portion of the IIAD entrance exam, candidates must participate in a studio simulation round (for UG candidates) or a personal interview (for PG candidates). The IIAD Entrance Exam can be taken from home or using a computer in an offline mode. IIAD entrance exam results and a candidate's performance in the studio simulation/personal interview rounds are used to determine who gets admitted.
CUETThe Common University Entrance Test (CUET), a national entrance exam, is administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) to applicants for undergraduate admission to 44 central universities and 103 other institutions. To be admitted to UG programmes at all central and CUET participating universities, all applicants must take the CUET exam. The exam will be given in CBT format and will last 2 hours.
ISDI Entrance ExamAt the Indian School of Design and Innovation, students can pursue undergraduate, postgraduate, professional, and short-term design programmes. (ISDI). 360 (tentative) seats are available for admission based on an applicant's performance in the ISDI Challenge. 
GD Goenka DATTo be accepted into the Interior Design program, applicants had to take the Design Aptitude Test (DAT), which was conducted by GD Goenka. Candidates needed to pass the DAT before being considered for admission to GD Goenka University. Candidates who have passed the GD Goenka DAT must now appear for a round of individual interviews. Additionally, GD Goenka accepts admissions scores from the CEED and NID Entrance Exams. 
MDATAt Manipal University, post-graduate MA Interior Design programmes are open to prospective students. No entrance exam is administered to candidates for admission to these programmes. Based on their performance on the prerequisite exams, candidates may be admitted to these post-graduate design programmes offered by Manipal University. 
NICCThe NICC International College of Design, which is UGC-approved, has a distinct teaching approach that integrates a variety of learning processes, including theory, practical application, in-the-moment projects, and evaluation. It awards a certificate for a professional Interior Design course.
MRNATThe Manav Rachna National Aptitude Test (MRNAT) is an entrance and scholarship test for admission to Manav Rachna University's Interior Design Courses.
