UCEED Exam Pattern 2018
It is important to have a good understanding of UCEED exam pattern 2018 to be able to start preparing for the exam. UCEED 2018 will be conducted on January 20, 2018, and this is the time when students are usually busy preparing for the exam. While most of you would already know the exam pattern of UCEED 2018, you may just take a quick look to be completely sure of all the important features related to UCEED 2018.
Highlights of UCEED Exam Pattern 2018
UCEED is a Computer Based Test.
The language of the UCEED question paper is English.
There will be a total number of 85 questions divided into 3 sections.
The 3 sections consist of Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions, Multiple Select Questions (MSQ) and Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
The time limit for UCEED is 3 hours, including all the three sections.
The UCEED carries 300 marks in total.
Section-wise UCEED Exam Pattern 2018
- NAT (Numerical Answer Type questions): In this section, no choices are given to the candidates. They have to answer questions in the form of a number using the virtual keyboard on the monitor Each right answer carries 4 marks. There is no negative marking for NAT questions. Zero marks are given for unattempted questions.
- MSQ (Multiple Select Questions): In this section, there are one or more than one right answers out of the four given choices. 4 marks are awarded for each correct answer. There is no negative marking in MSQ section. Unattempted questions result in zero marks.
- MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions): Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) have four choices, out of which a candidate has to make only one correct choice. There is negative marking of one mark for MSQs and the right answer is awarded 3 marks. Unattempted questions get zero marks.
