The UCEED exam pattern 2026, there will be a total of 300 marks for the entire question paper for Part A and Part B. It is mandatory to attempt all the questions. There will be 3 different types of questions on the UCEED Part A exam paper:
14 questions with Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions (four marks each; no deducted points). The response to these questions is a numeric value that must be typed using the virtual keyboard displayed on the computer screen. For these queries, there won't be any available options.
There will be 15 Multiple Select Questions (MSQ) in Section 2. Out of the four options provided, each MSQ may have one, many, or all of the right answers. The scoring system is as follows:
Full Marks: +4 If just the right choice(s) is(are) made and NOT ONE of the wrong choice(s) is(are) made.
Partial Marks: +3 if just three of the four alternatives are picked and none of the incorrect ones, even if all four are accurate.
Partial Marks: +2 if NONE of the incorrect options is picked, but ONLY TWO options, both of which are correct, are chosen out of three or more correct options.
Partial Marks: +1 if NONE of the wrong options is picked and TWO or MORE correct options are selected, but ONLY ONE correct option is.
Zero Marks: 0 If none of the choices is made, leave the question open-ended.
Negative Marks: -1 in all other situations.
Section 3 will contain 28 Multiple Choice Questions or MCQs (3 marks for each correct answer; 0.71 negative points for wrong responses). Each MCQ will have four possible answers, only one of which is right

There will be two questions in Part B. Candidates are only required to fill out the answer booklet provided by the invigilator, even when the Part B question is displayed on a computer screen. Part B consists of a single question that students have 30 minutes to respond to. PwD candidates who hire a scribe are not eligible for Part B assistance. This is a result of the inquiry's attempt to evaluate the applicant's drawing skills. The booklet will be picked up by the invigilator after the test duration is over. Every question in Part B must be answered by the candidates within the stipulated time.

A total of 68 questions are asked in the Part A of UCEED. 18 questions each are asked in Section 1 and 2 and 32 questions are asked in Section 3.
