AIEED 2023 Exam Pattern: Candidates must go through the AIEED 2023 exam pattern in order to enrol in the bachelor of design programme at ARCH academy. To pass the exam with ease, candidates must be aware of the AIEED exam pattern. This year's AIEED will be held online in phases, The AIEED 2023 online screening test will be offered from May 1–10, 2023, by the ARCH College of Design & Business. The AIEED 2023 application form is currently accepting applications through May 10, 2023. AIEED 2023 is divided into three stages.
Candidates will have to qualify in stage one in order to appear for stage two of the examination. The candidates who would be able to qualify for both stage 1 and stage 2 would be able to appear for stage 3. The first two stages of the AIEED 2023 will be conducted online and stage 3 will be done through Skype.
Stage 1: General Ability Test (GAT): The General Ability Test (GAT) is administered online. There will be 60 questions totaling 100 marks. The examination will last two hours. The question will be based on Design Sensibilities, Logical Reasoning, design-related awareness, global awareness, and Concepts Comprehension.
Stage 2: Creative Ability Test (CAT) is administered in an online setting. The test will have 50 questions and take three hours to complete. There will be 200 total marks. The exam will cover written and visual articulation skills, design thinking, lateral thinking and creative problem solving, awareness of design principles, and design thinking.
Stage 3: Video, Portfolio, and Personal Interaction: The test will last 30 minutes and be worth 200 marks. Composure, Focus, and Clarity, General Articulation Skills, Depth of Thought, and Range of Work in Portfolio will be included.
Note:AIEED 2023 follows an exam pattern which not every exam has so the candidates must know it carefully so that they are able to complete the paper in the required time. The AIEED 2023 exam is conducted for both Post Graduate and Undergraduate courses. This exam is conducted in three stages which include GAT, CAT, and interaction. The three stages of the examination have been explained here in the exact format that would be given in the exam pattern. Let us have a look at the exam pattern very quickly:
The first stage for the AIEED exam which all the candidates have to go through is the General Ability Test (GAT). If they qualify for the first stage then only they can appear for the second stage. This exam is based on the online submission of videos or portfolios. The same must be submitted at least 7 days before the exam. There are three-time slots for GAT and the applicants must choose one of them:
10:00 am to 12:00 pm
1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
4:00 pm to 6:00 pm

This is the second stage of the AIEED 2023 which is conducted for the applicants who successfully clear the first stage. This exam is usually conducted within 3 days of the GAT or after three days from the date of GAT being held. The CAT exam is conducted in online mode within a given duration of 3 hours. There are three-time slots for CAT and the applicants must choose one of them, such as:

2 pm - 5 pm
6 pm - 9 pm

The candidates who are able to qualify both the level of examination would reach the final round. The final round is called interaction which means the candidates have to introduce themselves and meet the interviewer through Skype.

Exam AIEED 2023 carries 200 marks. Together, the General Aptitude Test and the Creative Aptitude Test papers are worth 200 marks. There are 45 to 50 questions in total that must be answered. The exam questions are written in both Hindi and English because it is a bilingual exam. The exams were taken online by the students. Students taking an online exam have the option of answering questions in Hindi or English.
There is no negative marking for AIEED 2023 exams. The marks assigned to each question may differ depending on the number of questions asked in the exam. If a student answers a question incorrectly, he or she will only lose the marks assigned to that question. There will be no additional marks deducted for incorrect answers.
