M. Des in Fashion Design specialization is one of the most popular choices of students desiring to nurture their creative nature in designing elegant outfits. Candidates who wish to pursue M. Des in Fashion Designing must fulfill the mentioned eligibility criteria to get through college admission.

  • Candidates must be having a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design/Design with minimum qualifying marks.
  • Candidates must clear class 12th board examination with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized board or institution.

M. Des in Fashion Designing admissions are done both on the basis of entrance examination and through merit list.

  • Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED): Students applying to the Master of Design program in Fashion Design take the CEED at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay. Several colleges accept CEED scores as a qualification for admission.
  • Indian Institute of Art and Design Entrance Exam (IIAD): Many fashion design courses are offered at the institution, including a BA in Fashion Design, a MA in Fashion Design, and a BA and MA in Fashion Business Management. There is an entrance exam for UG and PG programs, as well as an interview in the studio.
  • Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED): Several students apply to UG design courses, including fashion design, after taking UCEED. The entrance exam is conducted by the IIT Bombay and is available to 24 colleges.
