About Bachelor of Design (BDes)

BDes is an abbreviation for Bachelor of Design. BDes Eligibility Criteria

Students in order to enroll themselves in a BDes course must follow the eligibility criteria as discussed below:

  • Students who have passed Class 12th or equivalent qualifying examination can pursue the BDes course.
  • There is no restriction of stream at 10+2 level, therefore; students can pursue BDes course irrespective of streams i.e. Science, Commerce, Arts, and Humanities.
  • The age limit for admission to BDes courses is minimum of 19 or 20 years as specified by the institutes at the time of admission.

BDes Admission Process

The admission process to the BDes course is done on the basis of the entrance examination conducted by the different agencies. The candidates are required to visit the website of the entrance examination and register themselves. After registering, they are required to fill up the application form and upload the required documents in the prescribed format. After the examinations are published, the cut-off marks will be announced. Then, the aspirants who cleared the cut-off will have to attend the counseling process during which they will be allotted the seat based on their ranks in the merit list.
