• Common Post Graduate Entrance Test (CPGET): An entrance exam administered by Osmania University, the CPGET admits students to the university's various PG programmes. The exam is administered in offline mode. 
• Andhra University Common Entrance Test (AUCET): This state-level entrance exam is administered by Andhra University to students seeking admission to the university's postgraduate programmes in Science, Commerce, Management, Humanities, Journalism and Mass Communication, and Teaching.

The syllabus for Astrophysics entrance examinations will differ depending on the examination for which the candidate is preparing. We have, however, provided an overview of the entrance exam syllabus.
