    Mechanical Engineering is one of the oldest fields of engineering and is hence regarded as a basic discipline. The field of Mechanical Engineering focuses on using Physics and Math principles to build and maintain mechanical systems. After pursuing Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering the next stage for applicants is the postgraduate program, also known as the MTech or Masters of Technology. The lectures, practicals, and workshops in the BTech Mechanical syllabus are aimed at developing fundamental knowledge and core subject understanding. 

    The Mechanical Engineering syllabus is structured so that students will gain both theoretical and practical understanding of the various domains covered by the study of Mechanical Engineering.     Syllabus for Mechanical Engineering Distance Programs

    Students can choose from Mechanical Engineering distant diplomas or certification programs that have been authorized by the UGC. These programs provide online or distance learning for students who don't wish to physically attend a college or study in a normal program. According to AICTE, Mechanical Engineering BTech programs offered online or remotely are invalid in India. Despite the fact that certain private institutions provide distance-learning BTech programs, the degrees obtained from these universities are void.

    A part-time degree option is provided for Mechanical Engineering postgraduate programs. After finishing the BTech degree, students can choose a part-time MTech Mechanical Engineering program. The MTech Mechanical Engineering syllabus for both part and full time is similar with minor changes. While the fee of part time courses is less than that of full time MTech Mechanical Engineering. A valid GATE score is essential to pursue MTech Mechanical Engineering from NITs, IITs, and other valuable institutions.
