    Biotechnology Engineering Course Structure

The first year of the B.Tech Biotechnology programme contains courses identical to those studied in grades 11 and 12. The B.Tech Biotechnology 2nd year syllabus offers optional classes as well as specialized topics in a specific discipline. Students can then select the subjects that are of interest to them. In most BTech Biotechnology institutes in India, every  Biotechnology student must complete a two-month training session at the end of the second year and a six-month main project in the final semester.

The course evaluation is also based on performance in industrial training of at least two weeks during the summer vacation between the fourth and fifth semesters. The final grade is based on students' success in theoretical exams, internal practicals, and project work assigned to them in groups or individually. Internal and exterior marks are worth 75 and 25 marks respectively.

The course framework is a blend of academic and practical knowledge, and it includes projects, group discussions, research papers, and internship opportunities. Biotechnology blends biology and technology and provides a plethora of project opportunities. These initiatives build students' confidence by putting their knowledge into practice, allowing them to become better leaders and decision-makers.

The biotechnology engineering programme is classroom instruction with teaching through real-world application of information through case study projects. This teaching style aids in the development of a thorough grasp of biotechnology.

LPU is one of the best universities for biotechnology engineering. I am saying this because as per the recent rankings released by Times higher education 2022, Lpu is among the top 74 to university globally. And it is a proud moment for LPU as only A few universities of India can make their presence in that list and LPU is one of them. Talking about the academics of Lpu, LPU opt for the most update as curriculum. The best thing about LPU‘s academics is Lpu follows the UK study based pattern where students are allowed to take their preferred major and minor subjects. Not only this Lpu is a university that is only not limited to classroom studies but also encourages the practical knowledge of the students. As an evidence the students of LPU get an opportunity for many study tours, international conferences, guest lectures from prominent leaders, workshops, seminars, and a lot more. Now coming to placements of Lpu, Lpu is a university that is doing excellent when it comes to placements. Talking about the highest placement records helps LPU has the highest placement record of 64 LPA backed by a student of LPU offered by Google. Last year the package was 42 LPA (highest in the region) offered by Microsoft. Another whopping package bagged is 48 LPA, 46.4 LPA, 35 LPA, 30 LPA by LPU students. You can read here. ( LPU B.Tech engineering student placed at INR 64 Lakh Package at Google Continuing its legacy of unbeatable placement records, Lovely Professional University (LPU) has once ( There are a lot of companies that visit Lpu every year almost like 1600 for campus recruitment of Lpu students and this is the reason more than 8500 offers made made to LPU students. If you will check the records LPU students are working World wide over a package of one crore and above Not only academics and placements but Lpu is also doing excellent job in all the major aspects and trust me Lpu is my dream university and I would like to give five star to LPU.
