MP Passing Marks for Class 12 2026 are 33%. 100 marks are allotted for every subject included in the curriculum in class 12th; however, these marks are divided into theory and practical papers. Most of the theory papers will be conducted for 80 marks; however, for subjects with practical knowledge, the theory paper will be conducted for 70 marks. The minimum passing marks are 26 out of 80 and 23 out of 70. Out of the 20 marks allotted for the project file, you are required to score 7 to pass. In practical exams, which are conducted out of 30 marks, you are required to score 10 marks to pass. The subject-wise marks scored by the students will be reflected in their MP Board 12th Result 2026 .

MP Board 12th Division System 2026

MP Class 12 Marking Scheme 2026
Usually, 100 marks are provided for each subject in the MP class 12 curriculum. You can check out the detailed information about the marking scheme from the table given below:

MP Class 12 Supplementary Exams 2026
If you are unable to secure the minimum passing marks specified above, then you will be required to sit for the supplementary exams. After the main exam results are released, the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education will release the MP Board 12th Supplementary Exam Time Table 2026 . The supplementary exams are expected to be conducted from June 17, 2026. The minimum passing marks for the supplementary exams are also 33%, to be scored individually in each paper. The result for the supplementary exams will be published on the official website at mpbse.nic.in in July.
What happens if you fail in the MP Class 12 Exam?
If you are unable to secure the minimum passing marks in the main exams, then you will have to sit for the supplementary exams. However, if you are unable to register for the supplementary exams, then you will be required to appear for the board exams next year. After the exams are concluded, do not forget to collect your original marksheet and certificate from the respective school authority.
The minimum passing marks are to be secured in each subject separately and also individually in both theory and practical papers. The marksheet and other certificates will only be distributed to the candidates if they get minimum passing marks as a specified by the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education. Do not forget to appear for each subject and pass accordingly. The result will include grades and marks obtained in each subject.
