Never Miss an Exam Update
Nagaland Board 12th Exam Pattern 2022-23: The exam pattern for Nagaland Class 12th is released by Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE). Nagaland Class 12th Board exams, also known as Nagaland HSSLC Exams, are conducted annually at the end of the year. Last year, like every educational board in India, NBSE also improvised the exam pattern by introducing the two term system to counter the challenges posed by Covid-19. However, the two term exam pattern turned out to be preposterous and hence NBSE reintroduced the conventional single term exam pattern. Now, as earlier, Nagaland HSSLC Exam will be conducted only once, at the end of the year.
NBSE also holds the responsibility to frame the annual curriculum and Nagaland Board HSSLC syllabus for Class 12 students. The board has also released the Nagaland Board HSSLC Time Table for the 2023 Exams, on its official website. Students can also download the Nagaland HSSLC Sample Paper 2023 to evaluate their preparation. Students are advised to read this article to understand the latest Nagaland Board HSSLC Exam Pattern 2023 and its related scheme. Having a deep understanding of the NBSE Exam Pattern will certainly help the students to score good marks in the board exams.

- Rationalised syllabus for the HSSLC board exams has been updated by the NBSE on its official website.
- Competency based Questions will be included in the Nagaland HSSLC 2023 exams, to foster the practical knowledge and hands-in-experience of the students.
- As the NBSE Board follows the CCE pattern, HSSLC 2023 exams will be evaluated both theoretically as well as based on internal assessment.
- A minimum of 33% marks in each subject as well as in aggregate are required to pass the Nagaland HSSLC exam.
- All those students who fail to secure the minimum passing marks will have to apply for Nagaland HSSLC Compartmental exams.
Why is the Nagaland Board Changing the HSSLC Exam Pattern?
The changes mentioned in the above points have been introduced by the NBSE in the Nagaland HSSLC Exam Pattern, firstly, because of the uncertainties created by the two term examination pattern and secondly to foster the practical learning to develop the students for the real life challenges they will be facing in their life after the school.
