About TS SSC Exam Pattern 2024-25

The Directorate of Government Examinations Telangana (BSE) updated the exam pattern last year. According to the modified TS SSC exam pattern, the students will now appear in six papers. There are three non-language papers and 3 language papers to be chosen by the students. The subjects available to choose from are Sanskrit, Telugu, Hindi, English, Mathematics, General Science, Physical Sciences, Biology, Social Studies, Urdu, etc. Each subject will have two papers, except for the language subjects. Students need to get 35% marks in the board exams to pass successfully. Along with the exam pattern, students are also advised to check the latest TS SSC Syllabus 2024-25 while preparing for the exams.

TS SSC Exam Pattern 2024-25

  • The total number of marks allotted to each paper is 100 with which the theory paper will contain 80 marks and the practical will contain 20 marks.
  • The minimum passing mark for each paper is 35 marks.
  • There will be a total of eleven papers in these six subjects and each subject will have two papers, except the second language paper.
  • Non-language Papers would have a maximum of 50 marks, with 40 marks allocated in the theory exam and the remaining 10 marks awarded as internal assessment. The marks distribution for all six papers is given below in the table:

Will there be practical exams in the TS SSC Board 2024-25?

Practical exams will be conducted for a total of 20 marks in subjects like Science. Two papers will be conducted in Science including Physical Science and Biological Science. Both of these will be conducted for a total of 40 marks with 10 marks allotted for the internal assessment.
