West Bengal HS Routine 2024 Overview

West Bengal 12th Exams 2024 will be conducted from 16th to 29th February 2024. WBCHSE announced the revised timings for the Class 12 final examinations. As per the revised timings, the WB HS Exam 2024 will be held as per the existing time table from 9.45 am to 1 pm (3 hours and 15 minutes), except for Vocational subjects, Visual Art, Music, and Health & Physical Education for which the timing will be from 9.45 am to 11.45 am (2 hours). The West Bengal HS Routine 2024 was released by the board authorities on 24th May 2023. According to the latest update, WBCHSE will conduct the practical exams from 1st to 15th December 2023. The board has also issued guidelines for the practical exams on the official website.The theory examinations will be conducted from 12 noon to 3:15 p.m. which is for 3 hours and 15 minutes where 15 minutes are provided extra to read the question paper. How to Download West Bengal HS Routine 2024?

The candidates will be able to download the timetable for the West Bengal class 12th exam 2024 through the official website. The candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to download the West Bengal HS Routine 2024:

West Bengal HS Routine 2024 - Exam Timings 

Along with the West Bengal HS Routine 2024, the board has also released the West Bengal 12th Exam Timings 2024. The exam will be conducted in the afternoon shift. That means, the exam will start at 12 PM and will be conducted until 3:15 PM. The candidates must reach their respective exam centers by 11 AM along with their admit cards. West Bengal HS Practical Exams 2024: Guidelines 

Students must follow the following guidelines as issued in the latest circular by the West Bengal Board for the practical exams to be conducted in December 2023:

• WB Board will distribute blank answer scripts and question papers to schools from predetermined distribution centers on November 29, 2023.
• Each school will conduct practical examinations, including Music (MUSC) and Health and Physical Education (PHED) as permitted by the Council. Only the teacher of the respective subject will be allowed to conduct the practical examination.
• If a school lacks a teacher for a specific subject at the time of the examination, a teacher from a neighboring school may be appointed for the practical examination. However, this requires obtaining permission from the concerned Regional Office of the Council by producing the consent of the subject teacher and the "no objection" of the Head of the Institution of the concerned school.
• Candidates who have already passed the practical examination in the previous year should not reappear for the practical examination.
• After evaluation, the concerned examiner must sign the practical answer script. The evaluated practical answer scripts should be kept safely by the Head of the Institution according to the registration number until further instructions from the Council. The answer scripts will be collected by the Council as and when required.
• After conducting the examination, practical marks must be submitted to the Council online between December 4, 2023, and December 31, 2023, as per the previous notification of the Council. The project marks of the students must also be submitted to the Council online within the same period.

If unfortunately, the candidates fail to pass one or more subjects in the West Bengal 12th exam 2024, they will have to apply for the compartment exams. This means that the candidates will have to re-appear for the exam. The compartment exam will be conducted after the release of the West Bengal 12th Result 2024.
