Karnataka 10th Exam Pattern 2022–23 and Karnataka Class 10 Syllabus 2023 has been made public by the Karnataka State Secondary Education Examination Board. Important details like grading guidelines, and exam formats are all included in the exam pattern. Students must therefore go through the Karnataka Class 10 Exam Pattern 2023 and strategically study for the Karnataka SSLC exam. The SSLC exams for Karnataka are held annually in March and April. Based on the exam pattern, the first language paper is a written test for 100 marks, while the other subjects have written exams worth 80 marks and internal assessments of 20 marks.

Karnataka SSLC Exam Pattern 2022-23 Subject-wise
Karnataka education board frames the detailed Exam Pattern for the SSLC exams before the commencement of each academic session. Students study three compulsory subjects and languages in class 10th. Karnataka SSLC Exam Pattern and Grading for Class 10
- The children must take three languages and three core courses for the SSLC Class 10 exams. The First Language, Second Language, and Third Language are the three languages. Math, science, and social science make up the three foundational topics. Alternative subjects are available for students with learning disabilities in addition to these. The length of each paper is three hours.
- The students must present themselves in three different languages. The languages from which the students can select span a wide variety. Students have the option of taking the Language Paper I in Kannada, English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Telugu, Tamil, Marathi, or Urdu. Students can choose between Kannada and English for Language Paper-II. Students must select one of Hindi, Kannada, English, Arabic, Urdu, Sanskrit, Konkani, or Tulu for Language Paper III. Language Paper I carries 100 marks, whereas Language Papers II and III have written exams of 80 marks each and internals worth 20 marks.
- Math, science, and social science make up the three foundational topics. There are 20 internal and 80 written marks for each of the three. For pupils with learning difficulties, alternative topics include sociology, economics, political science, etc. They each receive 80 marks on the exam and 20 marks internally.
- The exam period begins in March and lasts until April. Around the fourth week of April, the findings are made public. For students who failed one or more subjects, supplemental exams are also held. In July, the results for these are made public.
