Changes Introduced in Goa HSSC Exam Pattern 2022-23
As per the meeting conducted with the teachers, the Goa board has decided to bring the following changes to the Goa HSSC Exam Pattern 2022-23:
- The Goa HSSC board exam 2022-23 has been divided into two terms: Term 1 and Term 2 similar to last year.
- The students’ scores at each term-end exam will be added up along with the internal assessment for the final score.
- The board has decided that the evaluation of the students will be done on the basis of Multiple Choice Questions at the end of first term and subjective exam at the end of second term.
- The final exams will be conducted by the board and not schools.
- The students are also advised to go through the GOA HSSC Previous Year Question Paper to practice for the board exam as per the last years pattern.

Goa HSSC Exam Pattern 2022-23
Along with the GOA HSSC Date Sheet 2023, the board releases the Goa HSSC Exam Pattern 2022-23 every year. Given below are some of the major points related to Goa HSSC Exam Pattern:
- The exam will be conducted in two terms: Term 1 and Term 2.
- Term 1 exam will be conducted in the objective format while Term 2 exam will be subjective.
- The subjects with practicals will be conducted for a total of 100 marks out of which 70 marks will be for theory paper and 30 marks will be for practical exams.
- The total marks will be counted by taking the score of the students in the final exam + their scores in the internal assessment to be conducted by respective schools.
- The total marks for the exam will be 100 marks.
- The minimum passing marks for each subject will be 33 with an overall aggregate of 33%.

- There will be two terms in the academic year 2022-2023
- First term is of 40 Marks and Final Examinations of 40 Marks.
- First term paper consist of 40 multiple type questions (MCQ) - 1 Mark for each question. Second term is of 40 Marks, totally subjective. No MCQ, type of questions to be tested.
- 1 Mark (VSA-Very Short answer), 2 Mark (SA-I), 3 Mark (SA-II), and 4 Mark (Long answer type) questions.
- There will be two internal test of 20 Marks to be conducted.
- First test before First term and Second test before Final Exam. After First term.
- Both tests Subjective. 1 Mark (MCQ), 2 Mark (VSA-I), 3 Mark (VSA-II), and 4 Mark (Long answer type) questions to be tested.
- Third Internal test or Innovative Assignment of 20 Marks.
