Assam AHSEC Syllabus 2023-24 Overview
The Department of Education & Government of Assam Higher Secondary Education Council revised the Assam AHSEC Syllabus for both classes 11 and 12. This revised AHSEC HS syllabus will be implemented and followed from the academic session 2023-24. Based on the released official notification, the AHSEC HS syllabus 2023-24 was revised for the following 14 subjects - Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Sociology, Economics, Accountancy, Psychology, Business Studies, Geography, Political Science, Alternative English, Finance, and Anthropology. Students who are preparing for Assam HS Board 2024 can download the revised AHSEC Syllabus 2024 class 11 and 12 from the official website of the Assam Board, at ahsec.assam.gov.in. Students can download the syllabus both in English as well as the Assamese language. Syllabus PDFs are available for all three streams ie. Arts, Science and Commerce.
Earlier, the Assam Board authorities revised the Assam HS syllabus for Alternative English subjects for Class 12 from the academic session 2023-24. The official notification stated that the name of the textbook will be titled “Harmony: An Anthology of Prose and Poetry”. AHSEC has also decided to discontinue VIBGYOR from the AY 2023-24. Knowing the AHSEC HS syllabus 2023-24 will help the students get an idea about the marking scheme for each subject. Students must familiarize themselves with the subject-wise AHSEC 12th syllabus 2024 to ace their Assam AHSEC exams 2024. The Assam HS exams 2024 will be held in March 2024 tentatively. It is advisable for the students to complete their Assam AHSEC syllabus 2024 at least 2 months before the exam, and start practicing the Assam HS Class 12 Previous Year Question Paper.
