HBSE 12th Exam Pattern 2026: The Board of School Education Haryana will retain the same HBSE Class 12th exam pattern for the ongoing academic session 2025-26. The state board has made no major changes in the exam pattern. The annual examination (Theory) will be of 70 Marks whereas Practical examination will be of 30 marks. Hence, the total annual evaluation (70+30) will be of 100 marks. The time duration for the class 12th exam can range from 2.5 hours to 3 hours as per the subjects. For Practical examination, the criteria are Student Assessment Test, Practical file/ Record, Project Record in Internal Assessment, and One experiment, Activity (One from Syllabus)/ Project work, and Viva Voce in External Assessment. Students need to score a minimum of 33% marks in each subject and in aggregate to pass the exam. The examination pattern will be a mix of some compulsory subjects and some optional subjects provided to these students.
