GMCET 2025 exam is expected to be held in July 2026, and the GMCET 2026 registration is anticipated from November 2025. Global Media Common Entrance Test (GMCET), earlier known as All India Media Entrance Test (AIMCET), is a university-level entrance examination conducted to offer admissions into undergraduate media courses.

The GMCET 2026 application form is expected to be released in November 2025 on the official website of the Global Media Education Council (GMEC). GMCET 2026 application procedure includes registration, form completion, document uploading, and fee payment. The application form will only be accessible online for students. Students must pay an application fee of Rs 1000.
Firstly, students can register by filling out the necessary information on the GMCET official website. They must enter their complete name, a working phone number, and a working email address. (as these will be used to send the examination details like the date and time slot).
The GMCET 2026 exam admit card will be accessible only to registered students. They can download their admit card from GMCET Application login portal 48 hours prior to the scheduled exam if their registration is complete in all respects.
GMCET entrance exam 2026 is expected to be held in July 2026. There will be 100 multiple-choice questions in the one-hour GMCET exam. Also, the exam will have four sections: English Language & IQ, General Knowledge of News and Current Affairs, Entertainment Media Knowledge, Brands, and Brand Communication Basic Knowledge. All of the questions in these sections will be multiple-choice.
GMCET exam takes place online. Test takers will be given a time slot for the exam one day in advance. According to the guidelines, they will be required to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of the examination. The test slots for the exam day will be sent to the student's registered email and mobile number one day before the exam.
GMCET results are expected to be announced in August 2026. Students can access their GMCET 2026 results by logging in with their password and registered email address. The All India Ranking is used to announce the results rank-wise.
GMCET Counselling will start following the announcement of results on the official website. Depending on how well they perform on the GMCET 2026 exam, an students will receive an invitation to an interview. For those who advance to the interview stage, counselling will be provided. Following that, the universities to which the chosen applicants have submitted admissions requests will mandate that they attend GMCET 2026 counselling. Their next task is to complete the course fee payment and admissions process.
