MDU CEE 2023 Eligibility Criteria

MDU CEE 2023 Eligibility Criteria is released by the conducting authority.  However, before filling out the application form, applicants must review the MDU entrance test eligibility requirements for 2023. The eligibility criteria for the MDU entrance exam 2023 will differ depending on the course, so applicants must carefully read the eligibility norms. The eligibility requirements that applicants must meet in order to sit for the entrance exam are listed below.

  • Students should have a Bachelor's degree/Shastri examination (New Scheme) of three years duration with at least 45% for (M.A (all branches), Law, M.F.A (6 year), M.Com) and 50% for M.Sc (all branches) marks in aggregate or any other examination recognised by M.D. University, Rohtak as equivalent thereto.

  • M.P.Ed: Candidates should have passed B.P.Ed. 1 year, 2 years and 3 years with at least 55% marks in aggregate.

  • B.Pharm and M.Sc. (Hons.): Applicants should have 5-Year Integrated Mathematics:- 10+2 examination of the Board of School Education, Bhiwani or any other Board/University, recognised by this University, with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with any one of the subjects, viz. Mathematics/Biology/Biotechnology/ Computer Science securing 50% marks in the above subjects taken together.

Applicants should have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: (a) Chemistry (b) Bio-Technology (c) Biology/ Technical Vocational subject and minimum 45% marks in aggregate.

HSTES counselling or JEE Main score

B.Pharm

Applicants should have passed 12th class with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with any one of the subjects, viz. Mathematics / Biology / Biotechnology/ Computer Science with minimum 50% marks.

Entrance Test

B.Pharm Lateral Entry

Applicants should have a Diploma in Pharmacy with 55% marks.

Academic Merit

Integrated LLB (H), Integrated MA (Hons) English, Integrated M.Com (H), Integrated M.Com. (H) (under S.F.S), Integrated M.Sc Mathematics (H), Int. Master of Fine Arts (Painting)

Applicants should have passed class 12 with 45% marks.

Entrance Test

Integrated MBA, Integrated MA Economics (H), Int. MA (H) Public Administration

Applicants should have passed class 12 with 45% marks.

Merit basis

BA (General)

Applicants should have passed 12th class with 33% marks.

Merit in the qualifying examination

B.Com (General)

Applicants should have passed 12th with 40% marks

B.Sc (Home Science, Human Nutrition & Dietetics)

Applicants should have passed 12th class with 45% marks

B.Sc (Sports Science)

Applicants should have passed 12th class from a recognised board or intermediate certificate in Physical Education and applicants should have participated in sports at the district or school level.

BA (Hons), B.Com (Hons), B.Sc (Hons), BSW (Social Work), BCA, BBA, BBA (Business Economics), BJMC

Applicants should have passed 12th class with 45% marks in aggregate.

M.Sc (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Agricultural Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Medical Biotechnology, Botany, Environmental Sciences, Energy & Environmental Science, Environmental Biotechnology, Food Technology)

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree of three years duration with at least 50% marks in the required specialistion.

MDU common entrance test (MDUCEE)

M.Pharm (Industrial Pharmacy,Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Drug Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology)

Applicants should have passed B. Pharm with minimum 50% marks or any other examination and valid GPAT score.

GPAT score

M.Com

Applicants should have passed B. Com. (Hons. or Pass)/BBA or B.A. with Economics / Commerce/Marketing /Insurance as a subject with minimum 45% marks.

Academic Merit

M.Ed

Applicants should have passed B.Ed with a minimum of 50% marks.

MHM & CT

Applicants should have a Master/ Bachelor degree with minimum 45% marks.

MTTM

Applicants should have a Bachelor degree in Business Administration/ Commerce / Computer Applications / Engineering /Technology /Pharmacy or M.Com with a minimum of 50% marks.

MCA (Lateral Entry)

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration in BCA, B.Sc. (Information Technology /Computer Science) with 50% marks in aggregate with Mathematics as a course at 10+2 level or at Graduate level.

M.P.Ed

Applicants should have a B.P.Ed or B.Sc. Physical Education, Health & Sports with minimum 55% marks in aggregate.

Entrance Test

LLB

Applicants should have a Bachelor/Master degree with minimum 45% marks) in aggregate.

LLM

Applicants should have LLB with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.

MBA (H)/(General)/(Business Economics)

Applicants should have a Master or Bachelor degree/ Shastri examination (New Scheme) of 3-year duration with a minimum of 50% marks.

MCA

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s Degree with 45% marks in aggregate with Mathematics at 10+2 level or the Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects at Graduation level or Mathematics/Statistics as one of the subjects at Graduation level or BCA with 45% marks in aggregate.

Admission is made by the Haryana State Counselling Society, Panchkula

M.Tech

Applicants should have a B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent degree with 50% marks in aggregate.

GATE scores or entrance exam conducted by the university.

What are the MDU admissions requirements?

Admission to MDU Rohtak courses is based on an entrance exam, merit in a national level examination, an interview, and counselling. The merit of the qualifying examination is used to determine Maharshi Dayanand University UG admission. 

Is MDU a part of CUET?

It is not a part of the Central University of Haryana and is a separate institution called MDU Rohtak. MDU is therefore excluded from the CUET-PG exam for B Tech course admission.
 

Can we get into MDU without taking an entrance exam?

MDUCEE is administered by MDU. Candidates must take competitive entrance exams in order to be eligible for and admitted to the desired programme. Admission to a few of the non-centralized courses will be based on students' performance in the qualifying exams.
 

When will the MDU CEE 2023 take place?

The MDU CEE 2023 is scheduled to take place in July/August 2023.
 

What are the MDU passing criteria?

MDU University considers 40% to be passing.
 

Who can apply for CEE 2023?

The candidate must have passed 10+2 with Chemistry, Physics, Biology/Mathematics as compulsory subjects and a minimum aggregate percentage of 50% in 12th. The candidate must be at least 17 years old.
 

What is the required percentage for MDU?

Students must have passed the 10+2 examination with at least 45% or any other examination recognised by MDU Rohtak.
