Predict NowICAR AIEEA 2022 exam pattern defines the structure and the overall pattern of the question paper. With the help of the exam pattern, candidates will know all the details regarding paper mode, the time duration of the entrance exam, question paper medium, marking scheme, etc. Candidates appearing for AIEEA 2022 should go through the exam pattern in detail not only to gain a proper understanding of the entrance examination but it will also to help in preparing for the entrance examination.
As per the pattern of ICAR AIEEA 2022, the examination will be conducted in a computer-based format, and candidates will have to attempt questions within a duration of 2 hours 30 minutes for UG courses. The duration for PG and Ph.D. courses will be 2 hours. There will also be negative marking in ICAR AIEEA 2022 for subjects in each stream of the examination. Candidates are informed that for each incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted in the entrance examination. The exam pattern of ICAR AIEEA 2022 for PG courses is as follows -
In the AIEEA PG question paper, there is a one question paper for each of the 20 major subject-groups, which includes 150 multiple choices objective type of questions, each of which has four options.
Apart from this, there are 10 cross-matching type questions, each having five sub-questions for every subject-group paper.
The 20 major subject groups are: Plant Biotechnology, Plant Sciences, Physical Science, Entomology and Nematology, Agronomy, Social Sciences, Statistical Sciences, Horticulture, Forestry/Agroforestry and Silviculture, Agricultural Engineering & Technology, Water Science & Technology, Community Science (erstwhile Home Science), Animal Biotechnology, Veterinary Science, Animal Sciences, Fisheries Science, Dairy Science, Dairy Technology, Food Science Technology & Agri-Business Management.
In each subject-group, 120 multiple choice objective type questions are numbered respectively 1- 150
AIEEA PG consists of 480 marks in total.
Each correctly answered multiple-choice objective type question awarded as 4 marks,
For each incorrectly answered multiple-choice objective type question, 1 mark is deducted
No marks are awarded for un-attempted questions.
ICAR AIEEA exam pattern 2022 for Ph.D. and important instructions are mentioned below:
Section A
The section comprises 20 multiple types of questions (objective type).
For each correct answer, candidates are awarded 4 marks and a negative marking of 1.
Maximum marks in the section will be 80
The questions are based on General Knowledge in Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Dairying, Fisheries and Allied Sciences, etc. including current events and such matters of everyday observation and experience as may be expected to be known to a research scholar.
Section B:
Core Group containing the specialized Subject opted by the candidate for Ph.D
Maximum marks in the section will be 200.
For each correct answer, candidates are awarded 4 marks and a negative marking of 1.
Section C:
In order to get a clear picture of the ICAR AIEEA 2022 entrance exam, the candidates must have a deep understanding of the entrance examination. The ICAR AIEEA 2022 marking scheme have been mentioned below for all the candidates who are aspiring to appear in the entrance exam:
There will be 600 maximum marks in the entrance examination for UG courses.
There will be 480 maximum marks in the entrance examination for PG courses.
Candidates will get 4 marks for each correct answer in the entrance examination.
Candidates will lose 1 mark for each incorrect response.
Candidates will neither get nor lose any mark for unresponsive questions.
National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the major examinations online where the candidates will be allocated a computer terminal (node) against their e-Admit Card for ICAR AIEAA 2022 and Roll Number. It is mandatory for the candidates to sit in front of the computer terminal allocated to them in order to appear for the computer-based test. All the detailed instructions regarding the examination will be dispersed to the candidates once they log in from the node they have been allocated. The candidates will be able to see the questions on their respective computer screens as soon as the clock indicates the start of the examination. The candidates can alter their answers to the questions asked for the entire duration of the examination.
The detailed procedure for appearing in the ICAR AIEEA CBT
The Test Practice Centres (TPCs) set up by the National Testing Agency (NTA) facilitates the candidates belonging to the rural areas to get used to the format of the Computer Based Test (CBT). The Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) has made it mandatory for the NTA to set up similar free of cost facilities in the remote and rural areas of the country. In order to apply for the nearest TPC, the candidates have to register themselves on the official website of NTA. Through the TPCs, the candidates will be able to familiarise themselves with the working of the system like navigating between the questions, logging into the system etc.
