KCET 2019 Exam Pattern And Marking Scheme

Candidates planning to take KCET 2019 must take a look at the exam pattern and marking scheme of KCET 2019 which is provided below:

  • KCET 2019 will be an offline examination.

  • The KCET 2019 will be conducted in two days and four sessions. Test for Biology and Mathematics will be conducted on day 1 while the test for Physics and Chemistry will be conducted on day 2.

  • The medium of examination will be in English and Kannada. Candidates may opt anyone while answering the question paper.

  • The question paper will consist of objective type questions.

  • There will be 60 questions each in mathematics, chemistry, physics and biology section.

  • The candidates will be allotted 80 minutes for each section in the KCET 2019 paper. The first 10 minutes will be for filling up particulars in the answer sheet while the remaining 70 minutes will be allotted for answering/shading the correct options for the given questions.

  • Maximum marks of KCET 2019 exam is 240.

  • The candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each correct entry and there will be no negative marking for incorrect entry.
