KCET 2022 will be an offline examination.
The KCET 2022 will be conducted in two days and four sessions. Test for Biology and Mathematics will be conducted on day 1 while the test for Physics and Chemistry will be conducted on day 2.
The medium of examination will be in English and Kannada. Candidates may opt anyone while answering the question paper.
The question paper will consist of objective type questions.
There will be 60 questions each in mathematics, chemistry, physics and biology section.
The candidates will be allotted 80 minutes for each section in the KCET 2022 paper. The first 10 minutes will be for filling up particulars in the answer sheet while the remaining 70 minutes will be allotted for answering/shading the correct options for the given questions.
Maximum marks of KCET 2022 exam is 240.
The candidates will be awarded 1 mark for each correct entry and there will be no negative marking for incorrect entry.

KCET clearly states that the student must have at least 7years of studies in Karnataka. But to get into Karnataka colleges you can attempt JEE Main or COMEDK. COMEDK gets you into the same college as KCET but there are a lesser number of colleges and the fee is higher comparatively. But if you have special categories like Defence you might be exempted. Sorry to say but a student who has studied in Andhra is not eligible to write KCET in Karnataka. In order to get eligible for KCET, the candidate must have passed from a recognized institution situated in Karnataka only. Moreover, the institute must have been established in Karnataka for a minimum period of 7 years as of July 1 of the examination year.
