UPSEE 2021 (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination) will be organised by Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), U.P. each year for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. UPSEE Eligibility Criteria may vary for different programmes.
Applicants of UPSEE must check the eligibility criteria prescribed by APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. Before filling up the application forms, the candidates will have to check the UPSEE eligibility criteria. After checking the eligibility criteria the candidate must carefully fill in the application form.
Candidates must satisfy the UPSEE 2021 eligibility criteria in order to be eligible to apply for the UPSEE 2021. Only qualifying in the UPSEE 2021 would not help the applicants to get admission in the institute, they will also have to satisfy the eligibility criteria of the examination.
For Lateral Entry in B.Tech Programmes, the following UPSEE eligibility norms are followed:
Eligibility Criteria for admission to the second year in any branch of Engineering / Technology (Lateral Entry):
Candidates should have passed 3 years Diploma in Agriculture Engg. from a U.P. Institution with minimum 45% marks and 40% for reserved (SC/ ST) category Or Parents (father or mother) with the domicile of U.P. and passed three years Diploma in Agriculture Engg. with minimum 45% marks and 40% for reserved (SC/ ST) category from an institution recognised by the Board of Technical Education, U.P.
Note: Lateral entry in B.Arch./BHMCT/BFAD/BFA/MBA courses is not permitted.
Dr A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technical University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow has specified the UPSEE reservation of seats 2021 for various categories. The reservation of seats for UPSEE 2021 has been divided into two sections – Vertical and Horizontal category.

Candidates will be given only one type of horizontal reservation out of UPFF/UPAF/UPHC. However, female candidates of UP can claim for any one of UPFF/UPAF/UPHC along with UPGL.
Candidates must mention their category at the time of the application process.
Under any circumstances, request for a change in the category/sub-category at a later stage will not be entertained.
Candidates will be notified about the availability of seats under the Fee Waiver scheme in the respective category during the counselling process.
Female candidates will automatically get all the benefits of UPGL subcategory.
Passouts of institutes located in UP's rural area will be given a weightage of 3% of the total marks obtained by them in UPSEE 2021.

For the UPSEE Counselling, the seat which has a higher ranking will be allotted to you. That means if the seat allotted to you in the second round has a higher ranking than the first round, it will be allotted to you and vice versa. If you are satisfied with the allotted seat, you can pay the acceptance fee or go for the float option if you still want to participate in the third round of counseling.

There are approximately 400 colleges which accept UPSEE scores to grant admission to eligible candidates in various UG and PG programmes.
Yes you can. Applicants belonging to SC category must have an aggregate of 45% at least to be eligible to apply for B.Tech programme through the UPSEE exam.
