Step 1: Registration

To start applying for MH CET Law, candidates will first be required to visit the official website of the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra and click on the “New Registration” tab. After that, candidates will have to enter their details such as their Name, E-mail ID, Mobile number and other contact details. Candidates will be sent a provisional registration number which they will have to save and keep for future reference. Afterwards, candidates will be sent their Application number as well as Password on the E-mail ID and registered Mobile number.

Step 2: Filling out the MH CET Law Application Form

The next step involves filling up the MH CET Law application form which requires providing various details like their father’s / husband’s name, correspondence address as well as educational details such as certificates / mark sheets for SSC / HSC / Convocation / Degree or Equivalent degree.

Applicants should go to https://cetcell.mahacet.org/ to fill out the online application form. They should select the option of "Apply Online," which will take them to a new screen to fill their form - 

  • The applicants must go to the "Click here for New Registration" link and provide their name, contact information, and email address to register an application. The system will generate a Provisional Registration Number and Password and display them on the screen.
  • They should write down and save their Provisional Registration Number and Password in a notebook.
  • The applicants will also get an email and SMS with the Provisional Registration Number and Password.
  • If the applicants cannot finish the application form in one sitting, they can store the information by selecting the "Save and Next" tab.
  • Before submitting the online application, applicants are urged to use the "Save and Next" feature to verify and edit the details in the online application form.
  • Applicants are recommended to carefully fill out and verify the information provided in the online application, as no changes will be permitted or entertained after pressing the Final Submission button.
  • The name of the applicants and their guardians should be input as it is on their SSC or HSC or equivalent certificates.
  • By clicking the 'Validate Your Details' and 'Save & Next' buttons, applicants can validate their filled-in details and save their filled-in application.

Step 3: Upload of Photograph & Signature

As a part of the application process, candidates will have to upload scanned copies of their Signatures and Photographs. The Signature has to be done with a black ink pen on white paper in a prescribed format as per the dimensions given below:

Step 4: Payment of the MH CET Law Application Fee

  • There will be two distinct upload URLs for the Photograph and Signature.
  • Click on the "Upload Photograph / Upload Signature" link.
  • Scroll the location where the Scanned Photo / Signature file was saved and select it. Click on the file to choose it. Select the 'Open' / 'Upload' option.
  • An incomplete online application, such as lacking a photograph and signature supplied in the online application form or fee payment that has failed, will not be deemed genuine.
  • The candidates should also verify that their Photo and Signature are uploaded in the appropriate places.
  • Students will not be permitted to take the MH CET Exam if they upload the photographs and signatures of others.
  • Candidates should also ensure that their photo is submitted in the Photo field and their signature is entered in the Signature field.
  • If there is a contradiction, the individual will be denied entry to the CET examination.
  • If the face in the photograph or the signature is unclear, the authorities will refuse the application.
  • The applicants should make sure the photographs are visible and have been uploaded successfully.
  • If the photograph is not visible, the applicants must change the image.
  • After completing registration, they must get a print copy of the online application form.
  • The MH CET Application Form is required for Admission. Candidates should keep it in both hard copy and soft copy format.
  • The application form copy will be required during the Centralized Admission Process (CAP).
