SBI Clerk Exam Pattern 2025

SBI Clerk 2025 Exam Pattern is determined by the State Bank of India (SBI). The exam pattern of SBI Clerk 2025 includes three stages: Prelims, Mains, and a Language Proficiency Test. Candidates need to pass both examinations, i.e., Prelims and Mains, to get qualified for the SBI Clerk (Junior Associate) post. There will be no interview stage. The SBI Clerk Preliminary exam will be held first. Those who qualify for the Prelims examination will be eligible to appear for the SBI Clerk Mains exam 2025. After qualifying both stages, candidates need to qualify for a test of the specified local language. The Prelims will be conducted for 100 marks, and the Mains will be for 200 marks, with a time duration of 60 minutes and 2 hours 40 minutes, respectively.       SBI Clerk 2025 Selection Process

      The State Bank of India conducted the SBI Clerk 2025 exam to recruit eligible candidates for the post of Junior Associates (Customer Support and Sales). The State Bank of India will release the official notification, which will include details on vacancies, eligibility criteria, and the online application process, will be released soon. The selection process for the Junior Associates post includes three stages:

      • Preliminary Exam (Online)
      • Mains Exam (Online)
      • Language Proficiency Test

      Candidates will have to clear both the preliminary and mains exams to be eligible to appear for the Language Proficiency Test. Those who will successfully clear all three stages will be given an appointment letter.

          Marking Scheme for SBI Clerk 2025 Mains Examination

          The SBI Clerk Marking Scheme is basically the same as other IBPS/Banking exams. The candidate gets 1 marks for each correct answer in the SBI Clerk prelims exam and there are also provisions for negative marking.           SBI Clerk Prelims Marking Scheme 2025

          • Total 100 questions are asked in the SBI Clerk prelims exam 2025
          • A candidate gets 1 mark for each correct answer
          • There is negative marking for incorrect answers in the SBI Clerk exam.
          • 1/4th of the marks is deducted for every incorrect answer.
          • There will be no deduction for unanswered questions.

          SBI Clerk Mains Marking Scheme 2025

          • Total 190 questions are asked in the SBI Clerk Mains exam 2025
          • A candidate gets 1 mark for each correct answer in every section except Reasoning Aptitude and Computer ability
          • For the Reasoning Aptitude and Computer ability section, a candidate gets 1.2 marks for each correct answer
          • There is negative marking for incorrect answers in the SBI Mains exam.
          • 1/4th of the marks is deducted for every incorrect answer.

          SBI Clerk 2025 Language Proficiency Test (LPT)

          The Language Proficiency Test (LPT) is conducted for candidates who will qualify for both SBI Clerk Prelims as well as the Mains exam. It is based on the local language you have chosen during SBI Clerk Application and registration. Candidates who qualify for the exam will have to show up on their 10th or 12th mark sheet to justify the fact that they have studied the specified opted local language and will not be subjected to any Language test. The language test is only mandatory for candidates who are unable to produce their class 10th or 12th mark sheets. Those who have the mark sheet and the required marks can skip the exam. Candidates who fail to qualify for the language test will not be offered an appointment and their candidature will be termed as null and void.

          SBI Clerk 2025 Pre-Examination Training

          SBI Clerk 2025 pre-exam training is an important concept for the interest of minority community aspirants. SBI might arrange pre-examination training for SC/ST/XS/Religious Minority Community at different centers, a week before the schedule of the exam. The guidelines for the same will be decided by the Government of India. If the candidates belonging to the mentioned category are ready to apply for the training at their own cost, they may apply under the relevant column while applying online at the official website.

          SBI might add or delete some of the centers prescribed for training, at its convenience. Candidates willing to appear for SBI Clerk pre-exam training will be able to download their call letters for the same on the official website by providing their registration number and password, which is their date of birth. The bank will not send the hard copy of the call letters to the eligible candidates by post.

          SBI Clerk 2025 Normalization of Marks

          SBI follows the normalization method for balancing the marks of the aspirants. This process is followed for adjusting the scores of the candidates. Since the exam will be conducted in multiple shifts (and since the difficulty level of the shifts will be different), hence, the SBI Clerk normalization method will be followed. Using the equi-percentile process, the normalization process will be done. In turn, this fair evaluation process will help to balance the scores of the aspirants.
