LSAT India 2020 Eligibility Criteria

LSAT India 2020 eligibility criteria mention the age and minimum qualifications required to apply for the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) 2020. Prior to filling the applications form of LSAT India, it is advisable to examine the eligibility criteria of LSAT India 2020. If any candidate fails to fulfil any of the LSAT India 2020 eligibility criteria, then he/she will be prohibited at any phase during the admission process of the participating colleges/institutes. Each participating colleges/institute will have its own eligibility criteria and it will be different from each other and also vary with the candidate's category. Those planning to take the examination must keep handy all the important documents in order to prove their eligibility during all the phases of LSAT India selection.

As per LSAT India 2020 Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidate should be a citizen of India.
  • For BA LLB Programme: Candidates should complete their Class XII or any other equivalent examination with minimum 45% marks from CBSE or any other recognised board in any discipline/subject.
  • For LLB programme: Candidates should have Bachelor’s degree in any discipline/subject with minimum 45% marks in the qualifying examination.
  • For LLM programme: Candidates should have completed their 3 years Bachelor’s degree (LLB) or 5 years Bachelor’s degree (BA LLB ) with 45% aggregate marks. The LL.B or BA LLB degrees should be provided by a recognised Indian law college/institute according to the BCI (Bar Council of India) norms.
  • Age Criteria: There is no age limit criteria to apply for LSAT India 2019 examination. Candidates will have to check the age limit determined by various colleges/institutions in which they are seeking admission.

Candidates who fulfill these conditions will be called eligible to take the exam and finally apply for admission to law colleges/institutes. Those who do not fulfill the eligibility criteria of LSAT India 2020, will be disqualified from participating in the entire admission process. Only eligible candidates will able to download their admit card /hall ticket.

LSAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria

The LSAT 2020 eligibility criteria have been given out by Pearson VUE in October 2020. The candidates are advised to check the LSAT eligibility criteria before applying for the examination. LSAT India 2020 eligibility criteria mention the age and minimum qualifications required to apply for the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) 2020.

LSAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria for Integrated Law Programme (5 Years)

Candidates will have to qualify in class 10+2 from a recognised institute in order to appear for the LSAT 2020 

The candidate will have to score 50% in the aggregate of the last qualifying marks

LSAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria for 3 Year LLB 

Candidates will have to qualify in class 10+2 from a recognised institute in order to appear for the LSAT 2020 

Candidates will have to score at least 55% in the last qualifying examination. 

LSAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria for LLM Programme

All the candidates applying for LLM must hold an LLB degree from a recognised Institute of Bar Council of India. 

The applicant must score 55% marks in the qualifying examination.

5% relaxation is given to the reserved category (SC/ST/PwD) which means that the candidates belonging to reserved category must score 50% in the examination. 

LSAT 2020 College-wise Eligibility Criteria

The colleges which accept the LSAT score has their own eligibility criteria. Hence candidates must check the college-wise LSAT eligibility criteria

Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law

Candidates must have completed integrated 5 years or Bachelor of Law from a recognised institute

Or,

Candidates must have scored 50% in graduation in Arts, Science and Commerce. 

Or,

Candidates must possess an LLB degree in Intellectual Property from IIT Kharagpur

Jindal Global Law

Applicants must have qualified class 12 with 45% marks 

Candidates must be below 22 years.

Or, 

Applicants who have already qualified the graduation with 45% marks has no age limit.
