LSAT India 2024 Eligibility Criteria: The LSAT India 2024 eligibility criteria are given out by Pearson VUE. The candidates are advised to check the LSAT eligibility criteria before applying for the examination. LSAT India 2024 eligibility criteria mention the age and minimum qualifications required to apply for the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) 2024

Prior to filling out the application form for LSAT India, it is advisable to examine the eligibility criteria of LSAT India 2024. If any candidate fails to fulfil any of the LSAT 2024 eligibility criteria, then he/she will be prohibited at any phase during the admission process of the participating colleges / institutes. Each LSAT India 2024 participating college / institute will have its own eligibility criteria and it will be different from each other and also vary with the candidate's category. Those planning to take the examination must keep handy all the important documents in order to prove their eligibility during all the phases of LSAT India selection. If any candidate fails to comply with the eligibility criteria then the candidate might lose the candidature. 

Candidates are required to meet the eligibility criteria set out by each law institution independently in order to be eligible for the course. Even if they passed the LSAT-India 2024, candidates who do not meet the requirements of the college chosen for admission would be disqualified.

LSAT India 2024 Eligibility Requirements

Some of the major pointers related to the LSAT India 2024 eligibility requirements -

  • The candidate should be a citizen of India.
  • For BA LLB Programme: Candidates should complete their Class XII or any other equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% marks from CBSE or any other recognized board in any discipline/subject.
  • For the LLB programme: Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline/subject with a minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying examination.
  • For the LLM programme: Candidates should have completed their 3 years of Bachelor’s degree (LLB) or 5 years of Bachelor’s degree (BA LLB ) with 45% aggregate marks. The LL.B or BA LLB degrees should be provided by a recognized Indian law college/institute according to the BCI (Bar Council of India) norms.
  • Age Criteria: There is no age limit criteria to apply for the LSAT India 2024 examination. Candidates will have to check the age limit determined by various colleges / institutions to which they are seeking admission.
  • Law aspirants who will fulfil these requirements will be eligible to take the exam and finally apply for admission to law colleges/institutes. Those who do not fulfil the LSAT India 2024 eligibility criteria will be disqualified from participating in the LSAT admission process. Only eligible candidates will be able to download their LSAT India admit cards and appear for the exam.

LSAT India 2024 Eligibility Criteria for Integrated Law Programme (5 Years)

The detailed LSAT 2024 eligibility criteria for the Integrated law programme (5 years) is given below:

  • Candidates will have to qualify in class 10+2 from a recognised institute in order to appear for the LSAT India 2024.
  • The candidate will have to score 50% in the aggregate of the last qualifying marks.

LSAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria for 3 Year LLB

The detailed LSAT 2024 eligibility criteria for 3 year LLB programme is given below:

  • Candidates will have to qualify in class 10+2 from a recognised institute in order to appear for the LSAT India 2024.
  • Candidates will have to score at least 55% in the last qualifying examination. 

LSAT 2024 Eligibility Criteria for LLM Programme

The detailed LSAT 2024 eligibility criteria for the LLM programme are given below:

  • All the candidates applying for LLM must hold an LLB degree from a recognised Institute of Bar Council of India. 
  • The applicant must score 55% marks in the qualifying examination.
  • 5% relaxation is given to the reserved category (SC / ST / PwD) which means that the candidates belonging to the reserved category must score 50% in the examination.
