AIIMS MBBS Cut-off 2019

AIIMS MBBS cut-off 2019 will be decided by the conducting authority, i.e. All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. The cut-off of AIIMS MBBS will be released in online mode for the candidates who have appeared in the entrance exam. AIIMS MBBS cut-off 2019 is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates will have to secure in order to be shortlisted for further rounds of selection. According to AIIMS New Delhi, AIIMS 2019 cut-off marks are expected to be 50% for general candidates, 40% for SC / ST candidates and 45% for OBC candidates.

AIIMS MBBS 2019 is scheduled to be conducted on 25th and 26th May 2019 and the AIIMS MBBS result  is expected to be released on 12th June 2019. Candidates must note that the AIIMS MBBS cut-off 2019 will only be published after the declaration of the results and will depend on various factors such as, complexity level of the exam, number of applicants, previous year cut off, seat availability, the performance of candidates etc.

AIIMS MBBS 2019 Cutoff: Tie-breaking Criteria

The order of rank in the merit list will be determined by considering tie-breaking factors in case two candidates score same overall percentile in the entrance exam. The same order of priority will be followed as mentioned below:

Percentile in Biology:

Candidates’ percentiles in Biology subject in entrance exam will be considered. Those candidates who have scored higher percentile score in Biology will be placed higher in the order of merit.

Percentile in Chemistry:

If the tie persists after considering Biology percentile, then the percentile of the candidate in the subject of Chemistry in AIIMS MBBS entrance will be taken into consideration. The candidate whose percentile is higher in Chemistry will be placed higher in order of the merit list.

Percentile in Physics:

Even if a tie still persists, then, candidates’ percentile in Physics subject will be considered. Candidate with higher percentile will be placed higher in the order of merit.

Percentile in General Knowledge (GK):

If a tie still persists, then, candidates’ percentile in General Knowledge will be taken into account. Candidates’ with ha igher percentile in GK will be placed higher in the order of merit.

Age:

The final factor of age will be considered, if a tie situation still persists between two candidates even after considering all above factors. Candidate senior in age will be placed higher in order of merit.

Factors Determining AIIMS MBBS Cut-off

AIIMS MBBS cut-off will be based on various factors such as:

  • Total number of Seats

  • Previous year admission trends

  • The difficulty level of the examination.

  • Total number of candidates appeared in the exam

  • Reservation Norms

  • Marking Scheme

  • Total number of candidates qualifying the exam
