SBI Clerk 2025 Eligibility Criteria

SBI Clerk 2025 Eligibility Criteria must be fulfilled by all the candidates who are willing to apply for the SBI Clerk 2025 exam. The SBI Clerk 2025 eligibility criteria comprise nationality, age limit, and educational qualification in the first place. Candidates must be citizens of India between the ages of 20 and 28. Also, candidates must have at least 60% in their graduation. Other than these, you must be proficient in the local language of the state/ UT they are applying to. SBI Clerk 2025 Nationality Criteria

As per the SBI Clerk 2025 Nationality criteria, you are required to be a Citizen of India to be eligible to appear for the SBI Clerk exam. For this, you will need to provide a relevant document that justifies the same. However, citizens of Nepal, Bhutan, or Bangladesh who hold a legitimate certificate from the Indian government stating their intention to reside in India permanently are also eligible to apply for the exam. It must be noted that if any candidates fail to meet this requirement, their application will be rejected.

SBI Clerk 2025 Educational Qualification

Candidates must also meet the educational qualifications to apply for the SBI Clerk 2025 exam. Check the educational qualification requirements for SBI Clerk 2025:

  • You should have a graduation degree in any stream or equivalent qualification from a recognised university as approved by the Central Government.
  • If you have an Integrated Dual Degree (IDD), your certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31st August 2025.
  • You must have obtained at least 50% in the Class 10th board exam from a recognised board.
  • Also, you need to have a minimum of 50% average marks in both your higher secondary (12th standard) and secondary (10th standard) exams.
  • If you are applying for the SBI Clerk, you have to note the following points:
    • The date of passing the eligibility examination will be the date appearing on the mark sheet/certificate or a provisional certificate issued by the University/Institute. If the result of a particular examination is posted on the University/ Institute website, the certificate issued by the appropriate authority of the University/Institute, indicating the date on which the result was posted on the website, will be taken as the date of passing.
    • After completing the service in the armed forces of the Union in less than 15 years, matriculating in the Navy or the Air Force, special forces or ex-soldiers receiving relevant certificates will also be eligible for the post. Such certificates should be dated on or before 1st January 2024.
  • Moreover, if you are willing to apply for the SBI Clerk 2025 exam, you must have basic knowledge of computers.

If you want to avail the benefits of age relaxation as prescribed in the table given above, you will have to submit copies of the necessary certificates at the time of joining, if qualified. You will not be permitted to change your categories after registration. There are no provisions for Cumulative relaxation under any circumstances for clubbing in either of the relaxation periods mentioned above.
