What After the Release of SET Result 2026

After the release of the SET 2026 results, the processes mentioned below will be conducted.

• Each participating institute of SET will publish a merit list of shortlisted candidates based on the cut-off marks of SET for PI/WAT rounds.
• Only those institutes will call candidates to participate in PI-WAT rounds, for which the candidates have applied before the last date of payment.
• Call letters are sent to the candidates 4-5 days before the PI-WAT rounds.
• This year, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the PI round is being held alongside the exam.
• The final admission will be granted based on the overall performance of the candidate in the SET/WAT/PI/ST rounds.

SET 2026 Merit List

SIU publishes a merit list based on candidate performance after the results have been released public. Important things to remember:

• Program-specific merit lists exist. For instance, different cut-offs and rankings apply to BBA, BA in Law, and BSc in Design.
• The cut-off is the minimum qualifying score required to be considered for the next stage of admission.
• Candidates above the cut-off are usually called for the GE-PI-WAT rounds, while those below are not eligible.
