CG Pre B.Ed 2026 Counselling Process

The CG Pre B.Ed counselling 2026 for round 1 is expected to begin in August 2026. You can complete online registration and choice filling by August 2026. Based on the merit and college options, the SCERT Chhattisgarh will release the 1st CG Pre B.Ed 2026 provisional merit list for phase 1 in August- September 2026. 

After the grievance window, the CG Pre BEd 2026 will release the final merit list for the 1st phase in September 2026. Selected students must complete admission formalities at the allocated college from September second week, 2026.

CG Pre BEd Exam Counselling Merit List 2026

After the declaration of the CG Pre BEd exam result 2026, the board will publish the merit list on the official website. The CG Pre BEd merit list 2026 will be prepared and published by the Board as per the scores secured by the students in the exam, respectively. Students will be able to fill out college choices using login details from the registration process. Only the students who successfully get selected in the CG Pre BEd merit list 2026 will be called for the counselling process to get admission in the respective Chhattisgarh Pre BEd college.

Step-Wise CG Pre B.Ed 2026 Counselling Process

The CG Pre B.Ed 2026 counselling and allotment process is conducted as per the admission rules. Online registration can be done by the aspirants from anywhere, as per their convenience, while making sure they have an internet facility and Google Chrome 22 / Firefox or any other working browser on their laptops or desktops. Before proceeding with CG Pre B.Ed 2026 counselling, candidates must know that they have to arrange the documents asked beforehand and have the required information with them for registration and choice filling. The major steps of the bed counselling 2026 CG are provided below -

Step 1 - CG Pre B.Ed Counselling 2026 Registration

• First of all, aspirants have to visit the official website, i.e. scert.cg.gov.in and register for the CG pre-bed counselling 2026. Before registering, students need to consult the guidelines for the same.
• Students have to use the “New Registration” tab on the right-hand side of the screen. They have to fill in the details asked, such as Domicile State, their mobile number, and verify the same via OTP.
• After that, they have to have to get their password generated for logging in. 

Step 2 - Fill Out the CG Pre B.Ed 2026 Counselling Application Form

• In this step, student have to enter their personal details and education details.
• The graduation information has to be provided in the educational qualification section.
• Students have to enter the scorecard information then. Please note that the scorecard must be uploaded carefully, as any discrepancy found during document verification will result in the cancellation of the candidature.
• Aspirants who wish to claim cadre-related reservations have to supply the cadre-related certificates.
• Student must complete the submission precisely, as once the counselling form is submitted and fees are paid, they cannot edit the particulars. 

Step 3 - Counselling Fee Payment

• To take part in the CG bed counselling 2026, aspirants from all categories must pay the prescribed counselling fee of Rs 350 through the suggested payment method.
• Student must wait for some time or the next day, if the deadline is there, to make the payment if it fails in the first attempt.
• After paying the fees, they must go to the homepage, log in to the Applicant Portal and choose the institutions for which they desire to apply for admission. They can fill in as many college choices/ institutions in this phase by using the Select tab.
• Please remember that only the native applicants of Chhattisgarh are eligible for the Government and Aided colleges. However, this does not hold for the private colleges. Candidates will get to see the names of the institutions on the screen.
• The seat allotment will be done based on the merit order, priority order chosen by the applicants, and the number of seats available. After completing the college option form, they need to click on the submit button.

Step 4 - CG Pre B.Ed Choice Filling

• Once the aspirants have completed the choice filling, they have to take a printout of the option form and the application form for the CG B.Ed counselling 2026.
• If students feel they need to change the order of their choices or remove or add new college options, then they can do so before the deadline. If they make changes to the college option form, then the previous option form will be cancelled, and a new option form will be generated with a new version number.

Step 5 - Allotment of Seats and Admission

• The final merit list and seat allotment will be done as per the combined merit rank.
• Two lists will be created per phase of counselling rounds.
• Students who make it to the final merit list will have to seek admission to that particular college within the timeline given.
• Admission information will be sent to the candidates via SMS. However, the SCERT is not responsible for the non-delivery of the SMS.
• Applicants can check their allotment letter by logging in to their portal and taking a print of the same.
• They must carry the allotment letter with them on the date of admission.
• To take admission, the student has to submit the provisional allotment letter, pay the admission fee of the allocated college, and complete the document verification process.
• For document verification, the students have to furnish the original certificates and their photocopies.

The student will have to submit the following documents at the time of CG Pre B.Ed Counselling 2026 for verification:

• CG Pre B.Ed admit card (for the CG Pre B.Ed Roll number)

• CG Pre B.Ed score card

• Valid Photo Identity Card

• Birth Certificate

• 10th & 12th Mark Sheet

• Graduation Mark Sheet & Certificates

• Mark List of all the 3 Years combined for Graduates or 2 Years combined for Post Graduate

• Caste Certificate (If applicable)

• Disability Certificate (If applicable)

• Passport Size Photograph

• CG Governance Certificate for the permanent resident of Chhattisgarh under 3(b), following the Admission Rules 2006
