FTII JET 2025 exam pattern has been released! It will allow the students to know the exam structure and the type of questions that will be covered in the exam. FTII JET 2025 is conducted by the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, and Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute (SRFTI). This year, the official authorities have made some changes in the exam pattern of FTII JET 2025 exam. Candidates who are appearing for the examination can check FTII JET 2025 exam pattern before registering for the exam. Per the revised exam pattern, FTII JET 2025 exam will be conducted in two stages:
According to the official notification, FTII JET 2025 written test is scheduled for July 27, 2025, with the next stage to be conducted in September 2025 (tentatively). FTII JET 2025 exam written test will last for 2 hours with the total marks being 100. To be eligible for admission at FTII, students must pass both the written Joint Entrance Test and the interview. According to FTII JET exam pattern 2025, students who pass the written exam will be shortlisted for the interview stage. The final merit list for FTII JET entrance exam 2025 will be prepared after evaluating student's performance in both the written test and the interview.

FTII JET 2025 Stage-2 Mixed Format Assessment: This stage evaluates overall suitability through practical, analytical, performance, and interaction-based assessments. It will be conducted at the FTII Pune campus. The weightage of Stage-2 in the overall FTII JET 2025 selection process is 70%.

The FTII JET question paper differs according to the course selected. The Film Wing Course is divided into two sections. Section A: General Aptitude Test (Objective); Section B: Specific Area Aptitude Test. Whereas for Television Course, the question paper is divided into three sections: Section A: Common Aptitude Test, Section B: Specific Area Aptitude Test, Section C: (Respective Specialization) Specific Area Aptitude Test.
The FTII JET entrance exam is conducted for 120 minutes i.e 2 hours. Candidates must be prepared to sit for a 2-hour long entrance exam.
The FTII JET examination is conducted offline every year. Candidates will have to physically report to appear for FTII JET exam.
